Nice 3 days safari (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara) which corresponded to price we paid.
4/5

Everything OK, especially accomodation in Rhino lodge which I can recommend to everybody. Exciting morning when we have seen buffalos and antilopes feeding next to our terrace. Great drive in Ngorongoro! Weak point was the car - need complete service.

A beautiful country with beautiful people

'Habari' after 43 years arrival in Mombasa Port, experienced in that time already a Safari with a big part of the Crew. I was told to take this opportunity as possible will never come anymore in my life. People from Kenya are where I am always looking for as living in a country full expat and found a few always friendly and 'Hakuna Matata'. This time arrived in Nairobi and now with a family, picked up from the airport by a friendly Maasai, 'Jambo Bwana' (Brighte Maasai Adventures). Above all we had two Maasai people who took care of my family, if their own and did everything to have the best time of their life. Thanks to 'from above' we had beautiful weather! (for us temperatures in heaven specific in the summer, as living in one of the hottest places on earth) And so many animals let us make beautiful photos in all 3 parks, to remember as from 43 years earlier 'only in my mind'.
Hakuna Matata, as holidays should be different from our daily 'struggle of life.' Thanks for our great experience, and our kids, both already adults shall never forget.

Astonishing experience

Tanzania's National Park are a dreamy reality. Crossing their gates meant to me detaching from reality, society and all the problems related, it felt like a peaceful and spiritual reality where I regained a lost relationship with nature and animals. Sleeping inside the tented camps in the park was incredibly peaceful, it was really a dream, during the night animals roam around your tent, and we could hear zebras, hyenas, buffalos ecc.. Serengeti then was a real gem, we saw all the big five and many hunting scenes and lion cubs.
We choose Colours Africa Tours as operator and they were really helpful, always on time and always listening to our requests, they put us in amazing accomodations and give us delicious food, and I think they provide a really good quality service compared to the price. Overall that's an experience I would 100% repeat. Also, even when in Arusha or Zanzibar we felt safe walking around by ourselves in the villages, which is something you can't do everywhere in the continent. The weather was hot but pleasant in the mainland and in the parks, only in the Ngorongoro Crater it was very cool, but in Zanzibar it was, in my opinion, intolerably humid.

Great half-day trip from Nairobi
Overall rating
4/5

I went to the park without expecting to see the Big Five, but hoping to have a nice, short, manageable experience in the outdoors on my first trip to Africa. My hotel organized a guide for me, but I only had the afternoon available, which isn't usually ideal. My guide was not terribly knowledgeable about the birds, but he was very good at finding the animals, and we saw all kinds of things. It started slowly, with glimpses of some hippos in a pond (so he said, I wouldn't swear to it), then some giraffe, then ostriches, several different types of gazelle (some quite close), zebra, wildebeest and warthogs, secretary bird, white-eyed eagle (?), a couple of Black Rhino ambling under the acacia trees, and finally, as the grand finale, an adult male lion sitting just beside the road watching the zebras, and eventually crossing just in front of the jeep.
By all accounts this was a pretty exceptional day at the park, but even without the rhino and the lion, it was a beautiful spot, especially in the evening, and a really delightful way to spend a free afternoon in Nairobi. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

It's a very large park and you may drive for a long time without seeing many animals. The scenery is nice though and there is plenty of elephants. You are also not likely to encounter many other vehicles

About: Go2Africa
November Cape Town and Safari Vacation
4/5

First, we want to thank Go2Africa for their outstanding service and commitment to ensure that their clients receive unforgettable vacations. The four of us were especially impressed with Go2Africa’s stress-free service that occurred throughout the initial enquiry, recommendations, payment process, and prompt communication. We couldn’t have asked for a better organization to assist with our travels.

Secondly, we want to thank Ramona for her patience and extraordinary effort in ensuring that the four of us would have a vacation that we will always cherish. After enquiring about Go2Africa’s services, we received a quick response from Ramona explaining that she would be our travel expert to assist in planning our vacation. It is clear that Ramona cares about her clients and invests the time to ensure that their wishes are fulfilled. Ramona took into account all of our considerations and worked with the budget that the four of us were willing to commit to. We are confident in saying that Ramona planned an amazing Cape Town and Safari vacation. We are still amazed at the amount of things we were able to do in just 8 full days of vacation to include Table Mountain, Cape Point Tour, Stellenbosch Wine Tour, and 6 guided safari’s in the Sabi Sands. Ramona’s recommended accommodations in Cape Town and Sabi Sands were outstanding and more luxurious than we originally imagined. Ramona’s guidance in preparing us for the trip (to include vaccinations, what to pack, and many other things to consider while traveling) was extremely helpful. In addition, Ramona’s detailed itinerary made this vacation as stress-free as possible allowing us to enjoy what Cape Town and the Sabi Sands has to offer. Thank you again Ramona for an amazing journey!

There are a few recommendations that we would ask Ramona or Go2Africa to consider. First, the four of us were really disappointed that we were not able to participate in our scheduled cage shark diving excursion during our last day in Cape Town due to inclement weather. Had we known that cancellations often occur for this reason, we would have booked the cage shark diving on the first day of our trip so that we could reschedule in time before we left. Also, we were told we would get refunded for not being able to attend, and it’s taken 3 months to receive reimbursement. Secondly, although the list of recommendations for restaurants in Cape Town was sufficient, we found the list to be a little outdated. We recommend updating the list to include new and popular restaurants in addition to recommendations on when to request reservations. The four of us attempted to dine at the highly acclaimed “Test Kitchen” (not on the list) but when making reservations 3 weeks before, found out that we had to make reservations six months in advance. Lastly, although we were very happy with our guided tours, all the tours were booked through a company called “Ilios”. When our cage shark diving excursion was canceled we decided to go on another wine tour but this time through a different company than Ilios. We would have to say that we enjoyed the alternate company’s wine tour better as we were able to tour more vineyards, and in our opinion, more reputable wineries. We recommend that Go2Africa provide a recommended list of other companies they work with for clients to choose regarding their excursions on vacation.

Even though there were some setbacks along the way, Ramona and Go2Africa were very reliable and helpful in assisting us throughout the whole process from beginning to end. I cannot emphasize enough that this trip was one of the best trips the four of us have ever had the privilege to take. We hope to go back to Africa in the future, and we will most definitely be contacting Ramona and Go2Africa again for their exceptional service.

Very versatile wildlife including lions, rhinos, all sorts of antilopes etc. You have to be very lucky to spot a cheetah or leopard. Extremely easily accessible from Nairobi but can be rather busy on weekends.

Review about Lake Nakuru National Park by aaroy
Overall rating
4/5

Nakuru is quite a small park, but the lake is quite nice and there are plenty of rhinos, some lions and the occasional leopard. The water level of the lake has risen quite which has deducted the number of flamingos.
