About: Uganda
Birding and primates destination
Overall rating
4/5

Uganda is a safe destination. Is has a true African vibe. Friendly and welcoming to tourists.

If you are into birding and if you want to see a big variety of primates, Uganda is a good option. Gorilla trekking is expensive and too commercialized.

General game viewing is Ok, but there are many counties like Sout-Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia where game is more abundant and much cheaper to experience.

Review about Mikumi National Park by Carla, Antonio, Alberto
Overall rating
4/5

It is a small park too close to the human populated areas and the big road that crosses it spoils the great environment of the Morogoro area.

A COUNTRY OF HUGE CONTRASTS
Overall rating
4/5

We were only in Jo'burg, so I can't comment on all of S.Africa. We were staying in Sandton - total luxury everywhere you looked - the cars, the buildings, the malls. We did a trip on the Green bus route around the area where Mandela lived latterly. Wow.. However the houses are all locked in behind high walls, electrical fences, security. We were strongly advised against going out on our own - our hotel had a shuttle bus to the mall and convention centre. There is security everywhere however. We did a day trip to Pilansberg reserve. Very enjoyable with a very knowledgeable guide - plenty of elephants with babies and a rhino with her baby too. We saw a lot of plains game and also the birdlife was lovely. On our final day after the Expo that we were attending, we went to Soweto and the Apartheid museum. Well worth the visit.

About: Botswana
Chance to see amazing animals in a natural environment.
Overall rating
4/5

We loved our game drives and saw so many amazing animal interactions. We got so close up to lions feeding and saw cubs, wild dogs, and a lot of other beautiful animals. We did not enjoy walking safari’s or boat rides. The people we met in Botswana were very kind and thoughtful. We were served great food and all lodgings were very nice.

Review about Tsavo East National Park by Felix Kamami Charles
Overall rating
4/5

Tsavo EastNational Park is big and has a bigger number of wildlife. though most of them are hard to find. if you happen to be at the right place in the right time, you will be happy you visited. if you are lucky enough you'll find all the big five members in a day. There are good hotels inside the park incase one plans on staying for a fews days.

About: Kenya
Extremly friendly people, fascinating wildlife, beautiful scenery
Overall rating
4/5

We had our Safari in early May. So the number of tourists was low, which created a very relaxed atmosphere with a superb service. All facilities were open and well staffed. Beacon Tours had selected top level lodges. The peak temperature in Nairobi, Masai Mara and Nakuru Park was 25 degrees which was very comfortable. In four days we watched the fig four (only leopards kept hiding) from short distance. About 30 lions, 50 buffalos, 50 girafes, 30 elephants, hundreds of antilopes, impalas, zebras, white and dark rhinos, hippos, cheetas, monkeys, ostrichs, others birds....
ALL people were very friendly and helpful. We had the impression that a whole country was working on giving us the best vacation experience of our lifes.

Beautiful
Overall rating
4/5

Nairobi National Park is the perfect destination for Nairobi residents and tourists who dont want to travel far from the capital city to see wildlife. the weather was perfect during my day of visit. and from the look of the scenery it seemed like its mostly like that. (calm weather.) we saw a variety of wildlife including lions which was my main wildlife i was eager to see. Overall rating, i would give Nairobi National park a 6.
