About: Go2Africa
A Four Day Safari to the Masai Mara - Scheduled Fully by Go2Africa
5/5

Emma Harrop at Go2Africa handled the planning of this trip for me. I have tended in the past to organise holiday trips myself. However I was persuaded by a friend to let Emma organise this one and I'm glad I did. Every little detail including flights, transfers, accommodation, ballooning and our catering requests (kosher food and cooking were a requirement for us) was arranged efficiently and effectively, with thorough consultation and communication throughout.
The trip itself was a spectacular success! The whole family (myself, my wife and my four children aged 23, 22, 19 and 12) would agree that this ranks amongst our best ever holidays. Some highlights included: seeing the Wildebeest crossing; the early morning ballooning over the Mara plains; the amazing breadth and variety of wildlife spotting; the fabulous accommodation and catering together with the warm and attentive care of the managers Tracy and Nelis Wolmarans and all of their staff at Governors Lodge; and the charming enthusiasm of Markham Boston our balloon pilot.

Family safari
5/5

Wonderful holiday. We did 6 day safari in northern Tanzania and 6 nights in Zanzibar. Everything organized to perfection. Great tour operator! Excellent guide Ibrahim! Excellent lodge. Roberto has been able to organize our trip considering the presence of 2 children of 4 and 9 years old. I highly recommend it.

Excellent and professional service
5/5

Walter Kohrs organised a tour from Windhoek to Vic Falls for us (group of 8). He was very patient with us during the booking process - we chopped and changed the tour numerous times. He gave us very good advice and in the end we had a wonderful safari. It was a real treat to go on vacation without any worries about which road to take, where to buy food, where to set up camp - everything was done for us. The organisation of the trip was done perfectly and we had no trouble during the tour. With Walter's prior knowledge of the camps, we were for instance booked into Ngepi Camp (Kavango river) - at the turn-off it looked very dubious, but what a wonderful surprise.

The guide and cook that went on tour with us (Elago and Justus) took great care of us, we could just sit back and relax. We got along very well with both of them – I can really recommend their services.

We had the greatest time doing safaris, cultural events, hiking, and beach with awesome support.
5/5

We had awesome communications and help with ALL the questions we had which were a lot but always more then willing to answer. They were more then willing to go out of their way helping with whatever was needed or asked of them always asking if there was anything else needed. Our guides were awesome especially Erick. He was the greatest spotting animals and his personality was double that and we both hated to part ways. We had a situation where we left an item at a lodge but they made sure to get it to us. They exceeded our expectations greatly when we initially contacted 10 TO's
and also during the whole time we were on our trip of 23 days. We met the owners Simon and Lucia who are such a sweet young couple but you wouldn't know it by the great service they both provided.
We cant say enough good things about the service and support we received from Safari Infinity from the very beginning till the very end.

Safari of our dreams
5/5

This experience was just what we wanted. We learned lots of new information, saw more animals than we could possibly imagine, stayed in comfortable and beautiful locations, ate delicious food, and were so sad to leave our guide at the end. I would highly recommend this company for their incredible professionalism and well tailored itineraries.

Top quality safari guide, delicious meals, overall a great value.
5/5

Our guide was knowledgeable while flexible and our private chef prepared delicious meals 3 times per day. The best price we could find and overall a great value.

One day, our group of four guys walked around Crater Lake and spent the night at a nice cabin by the lake. Then, for 3 days we were driven around the Maasai Mara park in the safari van, sleeping for two nights in a nice camp with generators to provide hot water and electricity in the mornings and evenings.

Our guide was really knowledgeable about all the wildlife and went the extra mile so that we could see a cheetah up close and personal. Our chef prepared a variety of delicious Kenyan meals and hung out with us at night. Highly recommend Kenya Walking safaris, an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful experience!
5/5

Scared, excited and nervous I left my safe home in Sweden and started my trip, Kenya was my destination and my goal was some much needed experience. I meet Isaac Ouma, while staying in Kibera and decided to go on a safari trip through Masai Mara. Isaac's knowledge and passion for the wild amazed me, I learned about the animals and the environment, while seeing the most beautiful sites. Isaac became more than a tour guide, he became a loved friend. I recommend Isaac and Ecobushman to anyone wanting more than a tour.

Outstanding Tanzanian Safari with Makasa!
5/5

Our group of four (two couples) took a two-week safari followed by a few days in Zanzibar, all arranged with Makasa. It was a fantastic experience, a trip of a lifetime. Selma, co-owner of Makasa, helped us customize our itinerary to our timeframe and places we wanted to visit. The arrangements made by Makasa were all flawless, and we enjoyed all our lodgings very much. A couple of the places Selma sent us to, Ndarakwai Camp and Rhotia Valley Camp, were off the beaten track and were some of our favorites. Ndarakwai Camp was our first stop when we arrived, and we spent a couple of days there before the actual safari. Because it's not in a national park, you can take walking tours there which allows you to see the wildlife from a different perspective. Plus there's a Maasai village nearby, and we learned a lot by visiting them. On the safari our guide, David, was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, planned our days to optimize our wildlife viewing, was patient when we wanted to spend long periods watching lions or herds of elephants, and had a wonderfully subtle sense of humor. Our safari vehicle was comfortable and well maintained. We're all enjoying sharing our pictures and experiences with others. We'd HIGHLY recommend Makasa!!

On time. Good services.
3/5

Service was good. Good visits.
The communication was not the best. We took 2 tours the day after our arrival, the person who greeted us told us ok and what time it was but giving us any paper ... but we only paid at the beginning of the visits, it's ok.

Perfectly tailor-made honeymoon
5/5

What an amazing time! We just got back from 14 days in Namibia for our honeymoon-- by far the best trip of our lives! Not only because Namibia is a jewel of a country, but also because Andre and his team at Impala Tours made it to be the best trip ever.
Starting from the beginning, Andre was very available online for a tailor-made itinerary. He was always making his best to accomodate our preferences for lodges and tailor it to our budget.
Once arrived, he picked us up from the airport and took care of us the entire time, while not necessarily being with us. He was there at the beginning to brief us on our itinerary, at the middle of the trip to pick up our car from Swakopmund (he drove from Windhoek for that) and put us in a plane to fly to Damaraland. He was also there to welcome us back in Windhoek on the end of the trip and insure transfer to the airport.
All the logistics we really well thought-out, he took care of everything and we just enjoyed our time in Namibia ---- a truly enchanting country.
Another very nice thing he did was also mention to every lodge that we were honeymooners. Surprises were awaiting us at each check in!
We definitely recommend this Tour op', and the price is really, really, worth it.
Enjoy Namibia!
