Tanzania choice safaris was well organized friendly and comfortable
I was amazed at The number of details Tanzania choice safaris managed. We especially enjoyed getting to know all of our borders and guides. We feel like they have become friends for life. They took all factors in mind and made it possible for 21 of us to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It was a massive effort and great fun. Everything they arranged was perfect for us. I highly recommend them.

Let down
When I had made my booking, I had specified that I needed a driver/guide who had knowledge of local birds.
The vehicle provided was a below average vehicle. Lots of noise and smell. The driver a good man but not so knowledgeable about birds. There was not even a reference book for birds. Even worse was he was on the phone for a long time due to which he was not engaging with me.
A trip to Africa is probably once a lifetime to many people. The tour operators needs to respect that and ensure proper service.

Fantastic experience with our guide George
We had safari with our guide George. His goal was to make sure that we saw as many different animals as possible. On our first drive we saw elephants, giraffes, many buffalos, zebras and also cheetahs. On the next day his focus was searching for rhinos, lions and leopards. Because of his efforts we got to see all the big five. George told us captivating stories about animals and their behavior. This made the game viewing that much more fun. We hope to come back next year.

Our second African safari with Giltedge and another excellent experience with them.
We worked with Sandi Bird of Giltedge. This was our 2nd African safari planned with her expertise. This time we went to Botswana for the incredible wildlife. Sandi was flexible with our requirements and proposed a fantastic itinerary for us. Everything worked out very well in the end and this allowed us to fully enjoy a worry free safari. Her itinerary allowed us to see and experience a range of environments and habitats in Botswana that maximised our time and wildlife encounters in this amazing country. Charter flight transfers between camps were seamless and hassle free. We would not hesitate to recommend Sandi of Giltedge Africa to any of our friends and in fact we do plan on traveling to Africa again in future with Giltedge.

Personable, down to earth, warm, funny and accommodating.
The staff are just all-around terrific. They are very accommodating and so well liked. They make you feel like family. Always having your safety in mind and able to answer any questions that you may have. I’ve never been on a vacation with happier people than those at Go Touch Down. Your days are full and your evenings delightful!
I went on Safari and was very pleased from beginning until end. I did not want to leave! Definitely worth the trip and affordable as well.

Amazing Images
I have been on many safaris. My favorite animal photos come from evening sunset drives. I’m able to capture so much more my professional cameras than you can with an iPhone. The end results were well worth the extra effort hauling my equipment around.

Amazing nature and culture!
Our guide, Mpairo was a Maasai himself.
He knows the park by heart and shows you everything you want.
We were able to see the big 5 within 3 full days.
We also walked in the park with a ranger next to the river with hippos and crocodiles.
We stayed at Sopa Lodge, which was amazing.
Lunch included 4 courses and dinner was a buffet.
We also had a group of monkeys in the hotel to entertain us.
The pool is perfect to cool down after a hot trip on the safari.
We also stayed at the Maasai Village for 1 night.
This is not as luxurious as the hotel but it is definitely worth it!
This is the only way to join the habbits of the culture.
They welcomed us with local food (which was very nice).
Then we went for a walk (it's a hard walk in the mountain but the view from above is amazing)
When we came back, Mpairo's brother made a bonfire where he made us a goatleg on the BBQ.
The morning after we did a balloonride where we saw lions, a big group of buffalos, hyena, elephants and many more. (I really recommend to do this!!)
Mpairo is really friendly and flexible.
I would love to go back with this organization!
Thanks again for the nice trip and say hi to your brother!

Just what the doctor ordered
Its been a while since we took a well-deserved break. This tour hit the spot. It was is more than excellent. The support team and our guide were excellent. They took very good care of us from the moment we landed in Nairobi. If you love wildlife and mother nature this is just what the doctor ordered.

Fabulous safari experience at a great price
From my initial enquiry up to a follow up email upon my return, Derrick at Africa Travel Waves was terrific at keeping in touch and answering my questions. He made every effort to ensure I had the safari experience I was looking for. The trip was great. Our driver Peter was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure we saw as much as possible. We saw many, many animals and birds and the scenery was spectacular. Accommodation was basic, but very comfortable, clean and very well run. I would definitely travel with this company again.
