Elephant heaven!
Overall rating
4/5

Our one day safari into Botswana was dealt with efficiently and quickly at the border. Our day was split between river and land. Both were enjoyable and fun. However, we were disappointed not to have seen any big cats, mainly seeing elephants, giraffe and antelope. Nonetheless, it was a good intro for someone on their first safari experience.

great experience
4/5

We really enjoyed the safari with Ozon Light Tours despite the poor road conditions that damaged our vehicle's rear axle. The drivers, including our driver Issa, showed great teamwork in resolving the issue promptly.
Issa was an excellent driver and guide—patient, punctual, safe, rule-abiding, and knowledgeable about animals. The trip was fantastic, but the lunch service could be slightly improved.
In summary, the trip was fantastic, but there is still a little room for improvement. On a scale of 4-5, I would give it a 4.8. After we provided feedback, Nuhu quickly responded that they would improve, aiming to offer perfect service in the future. We hope Ozon Light Tours continues to get better.

"It was a great experience to see various animals
4/5

The booking process was smooth, and the response from the person in charge was quick, which was great. Also, Serengeti Smile provided great cars and guides, and their quote was the most affordable among those I received. And the guide made a great effort to help us take good photos and showed us the Big Five along with many other animals

However, there are some disappointing points.

First of all, the person from the office initially mentioned that a tip of 2 to 5 USD per person per day for the guide would be sufficient,
but the guide asked for a tip of 15 USD per person per day.

Secondly, they promised to provide binoculars, but none were available.

Additionally the guide seemed very tired from the long drive, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience together.

Lastly, they didn't inform me in advance that the flight time had changed on the last day even though they were able to contact me by whatsapp.

Aside from these few situations, it was an enjoyable trip. Serengeti Smile made their best effort to provide a great experience, but our trip ultimately depended on the individual guide.

We loved Ngorongoro
4/5

We had a day trip to Ngorongoro with Karis Expeditions around September. We were coming from Dar es Salaam with my wife and son and we had a warm welcome from our lovely guide, Kantona. Next, we drove to our Hotel (Four Points by Sheraton) where we were brief on the next days trip to the crater.

We left Arusha on the next day at around 5:30am and made our way to Karatu then the crater. The view was breathtaking! Our guide was extremely helpful and very patient with us. He managed to answer all of our questions as it had been our first time ever visiting the crater. Our lunch boxes were very delicious and we drove back to the hotel to unwind from a fun filled day.

When you book with Karis Expeditions, be sure to ask for Kantona.

Unforgettable Safari Adventure with Kenmara Tour Operators
4/5

*Experience*
We had a wonderful trip, organized by Joe, with excellent support from our driver, Albert.
From the first day, we enjoyed the safari experience. Albert was an outstanding driver with knowledge of the many animals we encountered, which made the journey even more enjoyable. He also assisted us in arranging a balloon safari, which added an unforgettable highlight to our trip.
The lodges we stayed in were luxurious and provided a perfect blend of comfort and wilderness charm. While there were minor delays—about 30 minutes one day and an hour on another—the overall experience was not affected, and I still highly recommend Kenmara Tour Operators. Despite these small timing issues, we received top-notch service and had an incredible experience. This is a journey I’d recommend to anyone, and I’d happily do it again!

The safari game tour was amazing but we were guided to the masai village although we did not request the option. We had to pay additional fee which was a little disappointing to end our tour.

The tour was overall good. Kiki is the best tour guide. However, there was one issue: We were told that the visit to the Maasai village was optional, but it felt almost mandatory to participate, and during the tour, we were heavily encouraged to purchase many items. If you do not wish to participate, please be cautious about this.

It was a nice experience due to staying at the hotel on stilts and the wildlife that comes to their pond. Could get close up via the viewing room at the bottom of the hotel which was cool. We heard lions mating with roars that shook the room at night. Unique experience.

Review about Tsavo West National Park by Cindy Eyler

We had a great night drive experience with seeing lions take down their prey and eat it alive until it finally died, but in general there wasn't a huge amount of wildlife to see at this place. They need to add more roads closer to water areas to see more animals. It's very dry and hot so the animals are probably at the water areas that vehicles do not have access to. I think we were lucky to have seen the lion experience. Without that it would have been pretty slim to see a lot of wildlife. It's a long drive especially if you don't get to have an amazing experience. The tent camp did have a lot of hippos in their water. I give this 4 stars only because of the night drive Lion experience. If that did't happen it would be a 1 or 2 stars max.
