Excellent Rwanda-Uganda experience
5/5

I booked a 6 days Trip combing Rwanda and Ugandan experiences. My first contact was received and replied by Mr.Emmanuel with detailed itinerary and budget proposal suiting my needs. I was keen to experience the cleanest city in Africa Kigali with utmost local life experience. I am happy that i got what i needed, 'cooking cassava leaves in Nyamirambo with Ugali as well as touring all the corner of the city. I also liked my Gorilla trekking experience in Uganda and community tour in Kisoro as well as experiencing Musanze with Buhanga forest, gorilla guardians village as well as Dian Fossey exhibits. i really liked passion and courage of the team in this company and their willingness to do the best for you to enjoy your experience and highly recommend making your booking with them.
Thanks to my driver Christoper and the rest of the team

It was a great safari tour. They really tried to accommodate all my requests and do their best
4/5

I did 13 days safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania with Exciting Africa Holidays in August 2019 and I loved the experience. The communication was easy and Albert was always responsive from start to end of my trip. They tried to accommodate most of my requests and solve issues coming up. I only would suggest to better look into booking Tanzania safari through Tanzanian operators as an option. Although the border crossing and all the movements in between countries are easier with one operator and EAH really made it smooth for me, they couldn't totally control Tanzanian operator and there were a couple of misunderstandings. But I would say they have done their best to manage it. I recommend this company as they are reliable and responsive and worked hard to make this an amazing and beautiful experience. My tour guide Gibson was very knowledgable and really fun and I have a great time. Thank you EAH staff for this! Veronika

As soon as we arrived in Tanzania, Anne was already there to welcome us. The program was great, the choice of hotel / camp was perfect.
The safari was one of the most beautiful moments of our life.
Once her services finished, Anne continued to advise us!
You can leave with Afric'Aventure, eyes closed!
FIVE STARS !!!!
We will come back to Tanzania, and be sure it will be with you!

Trip of a LIFETIME
5/5

My daughter and I have been doing Mother/Daughter vacation get-aways for years now but something that had been on my bucket-list since I was a child was an African Safari! I finally made that dream come true for my 50th birthday and thanks to Earthlife; it was INCREDIBLE! From the early planning stages Angel was there every step of the way from answering questions, to making suggestions and fulfilling our every need to make our get-away one for the books! Our guide Moison, had super-human eyesight and was able to spot ALL of the Big 5 for us and the cherry on top was witnessing the Great Migration of the Wilder Beast after waiting only 5 MINUTES (we had a front row seat for that event)! People had been waiting 3-days to see them cross but we were lucky enough to see them within 5 minutes of waiting (just lucky I guess!) . Just to show you how incredible their customer service is, our luggage was lost in Israel (connecting flight - long story) but the bottom line is we did not have ANYTHING upon arriving in Africa. Angel and the crew at Earthlife spent the next 2-days working with the airlines to FIND our luggage and had it flown directly into the Northern Serengeti where we were finally reunited with our bags! They also went out of their way to have the owner of The House of West Kili to take us shopping upon our arrival so that we could get the basics (toothbrush, clean underwear, etc) since we had nothing to our name when we arrived.

If you want top customer service, an amazing experience and the BEST guides to help you see the Big 5, then make your planning easy and just select Earthlife Expeditions and leave the rest to them!

Fantastic Trip with Africa Tours Adventure
5/5

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to Africa. Africa Tours Adventure were fantastic and very helpful with arranging the trip prior to our arrival. My husband and I had the most incredible time in Rwanda and Uganda and Asaph our guide was fantastic – he has a huge wealth of knowledge of each country and the places we stayed and the food we ate at each location was brilliant. The accommodation selected by ATA was lovely and it was such a magical experience to stay in the tree house in Bwindi at Bakiga Lodge. Asaph was very attentive and looked after us incredibly well! 5 stars for Asaph!

All of the staff we met from Kudu Hills Safari Ltd was very professional, friendly, supportive, ready to provide and cover our needs.
From day one when we started to plan our trip up to our flight back home, Catherine had everything under control, and was always available.
Steve was an amazing guide, driver, host making our safari trip a once in a lifetime experience.
Catherine, Steve, John, Joseph and all of the others, thank you for being there for us.

Safari by road to 3 different tented camps. Wonderful landscape & wildlife & good driver/guide.
4/5

I travelled with my 18 years old nephew and we both had a great time. Our guide Felix, was always on time, helpful and informative. He was also a good driver and made us feel safe. The general road condition in Kenya is not good and in parts really bad but we saw a lot of local life and beautiful landscape because we travelled by road. We went first to Ol Pejeta conservancy and the Sweetwater camp. It is located on the equator around 1800 meters above sea level. The conservancy is known for their rhinos but we also saw many other animals including elephants, lion and jackal. We also visited the chimpansee sanctuary and heard about the work they do. Thereafter we went to Lake Nakuru and the Flamingo Hill camp. We drove through lush and green landscape and the area around the lake itself is beautiful. Again we saw many animals including rhinos, buffalo, some flamingos and Vervet monkeys. The last camp was in Mara, the Loyk Mara camp. The savanna was teeming with life and we saw so many different animals, big herds of wildebeest, topis, zebras, buffalos and other species. Elephants, hippo, a pride of lions, a big male leopard, cheetah, hyenas and more. It might have been good to have had a 4x4 as a safari vehicle because we got stuck a few times. On our way back to Nairobi we visited a traditional Masai village. We spent an interesting hour with them and was shown around by a young Masai warrior who spoke English. Our last day in Nairobi we were picked up by a driver and taken to the Giraffe center, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Karen Blixen museum before being driven to the airport. All those places were worth a visit and we also had a nice lunch in the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden. All the camps we visited during our safari were really nice and also quite small with Loyk Mara as the smallest, and maybe also our favourite. In Nairobi we stayed at Eka hotel which can be recommended if you are staying a night in Nairobi at each end of your safari, as it is located on the road to the airport and have all the facilities you'll need. We also used their car service one evening and went to Carnavore for dinner which was a fun experience. We ate a lot of really good food during our stay in Kenya and the service was great everywhere. All in all we had a wonderful time and can highly recommend both visiting Kenya and using Classic Journeys to help organise the trip.

complete disaster
1/5

Dear safari lovers and all who are planning holidays in East Africa with the assistance of Gorillas Homeland Safaris. It is pretty likely you will pick this tour company as they have a very nice website, perfect ratings, its manager Mr. Davis Tukamushaba has several FB profiles all packed with only positive comments, and he is very quick in replying to potential customers’ inquiries. All this creates a great first impression.
A month ago we returned from our 8-day safari in Rwanda and Uganda organized by Davis and his team. Wherein the word „organized” is a big exaggeration, as in terms of organizing our trip was a complete disaster.
It all started on the first night. After having landed at the Kigali airport around midnight we found that no one was waiting for us. When we, at last, reached the hotel we learned that Mr. Tukamushaba “had forgotten” to book our stay. In the following days it was only worse. Our personal guide who was to accompany us during the whole trip was late for the first meeting by 6 hours. Despite Mr. Tukamushaba’s claim that all our accommodations and entrances to the national parks had been already paid (in fact we had paid 70 percent of the whole trip in advance ) - ever and again it turned out that something was not paid or even booked. Eventually Davis would always pay – on short notice - only when we started the alarm on Messenger. A critical moment was on the day when we were driving 10 hours to the Nyungwe Forest National Park in the south of Rwanda for chimpanzee tracking only to learn that our names are not on the list. This time nothing could be done since all had already been booked. We missed the chimpanzee tracking, which was supposed to be one of the highlights. In the long run Davis returned us the money for the chimpanzees but it didn’t really comfort us. For eight days Davis Tukamushaba - who was in touch with us on the phone - kept on making up extraordinary stories about exceptional misunderstandings and unbelievable coincidences which resulted in this series of fuckups. Instead of relaxing we were stressed every night.
We decided not to keep this story for ourselves. We feel obliged to share it because of the tourists’ solidarity. My friend Izabela is a PR Manager at an American company, I am a journalist and a non-fiction writer. You’ll find us on Facebook, feel free to contact us if you want to learn more details.
Our unpleasant experience does not change the fact that Rwanda and Uganda are beautiful and fascinating countries. You will meet there many professional and kind people. Simply you’d better think twice before you go there with Gorillas Homeland Safaris.
