Fantastic 12 day tour Kenya&Uganda
Mega wild was a fantastic safari experience! We went on the 12 day trip through Kenya and Uganda to see Gorillas and had a great time.
From the start we had great communication with Anne who helped us plan the whole trip via email and spoke on the phone to arrange payment. We were a little wary of using the ‘wise’ app for payment as we had not heard of it before, but this is used a lot in Africa and worked really well and there were no problems.
We were picked up in Nairobi by our guide Alex in a great 4x4 safari truck and had lots of room to relax and settle in. We visited the Masai Mara, lake Nakuru and Amboseli and saw many wonderful animals (with the roof popped up). Alex was great at finding the animals and told us lots of information on them. The accommodations were stunning, big beautiful lodges set within the parks with nice pools and good buffet food.
We then had an amazing week exploring Uganda with our guide Dalson! Our journey started with pick up from Entebbe and a long drive to Kibale forest national park, but Dalson provided refreshments, Wi-Fi and kept us well entertained on the way! Stopping occasionally to give us interesting information on locals and their work, for example the charcoal making. We had an amazing time chimp trekking in Kibale then went on a local community walk around a swap, coffee farm and banana plantation. We then went on to Queen Elizabeth national park for a wonderful game drive and a boat trip where we saw lots of animals! We then went to Bwindi for Gorilla trekking which was amazing. Dalson was always very cheerful, happy to stop when needed for rest breaks, happy to talk to us and answer any questions. We also made some last minute changes to our plans which Dalson helped us with and chose some great accommodation for us! We would definitely recommend Dalson to anyone going to Uganda and we hope to see him again some day (maybe at an arensal game!).
Our only feedback was that the Uganda van was not AS nice as the Kenya 4x4, but was still big, comfortable and the roof popped up, just didn’t have the same aesthetics as the classic ‘safari 4x4’.
We would definitely recommend Mega Wild safaris. And don’t be afraid to ask questions and rearrange itinerary to suit you, they are more than accommodating!

The adventure of a lifetime!
I went to Kenya with my mother. We and our family joined a lot of tour in the past around the world. I’ve never met such a spontaneous, genuine, kind, informative person as Mr. Johnson is. He welcomed us with warm and professionality. He’s been always thoughtful and attentive to our needs. He never said no to our requests and he done his best to make sure we were happy and fully satisfied. We booked a Safari in Amboseli National Park and we saw all the animals we wanted. That’s all thanks to the great experience of the guide. He could recognize and predict the behavior of the animals and spot the perfect place to stay to see and take photos like in a documentary movie. Not only we had an amazing experience inside the park but Mr. Johnson is also a great human being. He never feel tired to talk about all kind of topic. He share real wisdom with us. Of course he’s a very discreete person so if you like silence he can be also very respectful and sober. He’s also a very good driver. He always drived in safety and adapted his drive inside the park in order to give us as much comfort as possible and be respectful towards the animal. I'll defenetely reccomend to book a private tour. It'll worth every single money you will spent. The most important thing to me is that i’ve never felt like he was doing that only for job. He really enjoyed to spent time with people and guide them. When i’ll come back for another safari i won’t have doubt to choose again Mr Johnson Mule!

It was such a delight working with Meander Africa Safaris. From the moment i arrived at the airport everything went as scheduled, the pick ups, the drop offs, the game drives. Mara Ashnil Camp in the Masai Mara exceeded all of my expectations everyone that works there is so loving and caring right from checking in to departure date, the team is incredible and helpful, My Driver Guide Johnstone was so Knowledgable and resourceful not forgetting to mention the best spotter who went over his way and beyond to make my game drive experience undescribable. He was always so worried for my safety, comfort and making me happy, I will never forget it. I will be forever grateful for this once in a lifetime experience. Fabulous!
The experience were amazing! The organization was perfect! Pick up at the airport, hotel etc! This for days were magic! We will never forget that for sure! Thank you to Edgar (the driver) that makes his best to show us the most) and Tito (the cooker) they were amazing. I really recommend them and the experience! We will do it again for sure!

just the trip I needed to relax and recharge. there's nothing quite like going out to the middle of untamed land. I like to go back every 5 or 6 years. Botswana is truly beautiful. Yoga safaris with local knowledge will get you in the right camp for your best safari experience.

Kruger Tour
We did a 3 day kruger safari tour which started and ended in Johannesburg. It was an amazing end to our holiday, and Norman as our guide was brilliant. He was kind, professional, very knowledgable and just a genuinely lovely man. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five on a sunset and full day safari.. plus lots more! The hotel was amazing too. Do not hesitate to book this tour, you won't regret it!! Thanks again Norman and Nhalala travel.

Beautiful scenery & wildlife
The scenery for safari in the Maasai Mara in Kenya seems to be endless and is beautiful. Tourism staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall safari in Kenya is quite pricey though, and in my opinion the experience could be improved to ensure value for money. When compared to other luxury safaris that I have been on in South Africa and other Southern African countries like Botswana, Namibia etc, my luxury safari in Kenya did not have many of the amenities and personalized services that I experienced in other countries. But the Maasai Mara is definitely recommended for a “bucket list” experience.
