Amazing Safari
5/5

Best Safari I've been on out of at least 20 others. Our guide Jeff did an amazing job of driving, both getting to the park and driving thru the park. He was able to find all Big 5 as well as a cheetah, hundreds of giraffes, zebras, hippos, wildebeest and all kinds of antelopes, all in the same day! The accommodations were fine with a good hot water shower. However, the power is only on for a few hours in the morning and evening.

Fantastic beauty of East Africa.
5/5

We selected Frena Adventures for Rwanda and Uganda trip. We communicate with several companies but decided to stay with Frena and was very happy about this. It was all good experience from making program of our trip, customizing and optimizing. Our guide/driver was always in time and showed very good knowledge of area and Uganda in particular. He was really good in helping to select best spot for photos. All of these factors helped to open fantastic beauty of East Africa.

Review about Tarangire National Park by Linda S
Overall rating
5/5

My favorite park - Tarangire is gorgeous, full of animals to see with minimum driving. Artificial ponds have been created to support the population of animals. This park has lots of Baobab trees, which the elephants love. So there is a high concentration of elephants in the park. We couldn't get tired of watching the babies and moms in the river. We also got tremendous photos of a cheetah, ostrich, zebras, gazelles. The Tarangire Safari Lodge provided very comfortable tents for us, as well as a gorgeous stone lodge holding a comfortable lounge area, restaurant, bar and outdoor patio overlooking a tremendous view. Food was buffet style and quite good at all meals.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Linda S
Overall rating
5/5

We spent the night at :Embalakai Camp in the Serengeti, so we had 2 days to explore. The huge expanse of the park meant you might drive quite awhile before seeing animals. But, they are all there and the drivers communicate to bring tourists to the best viewing spots. We were thrilled with everything we saw: lions eating a zebra (and vultures waiting their turn); a leopard and two cubs in a tree; cheetah scanning for game close to the road; lots of antelope and gazelles; gorgeous birds, hundreds of zebra crossing the road - thousands of wildebeasts, etc. Given the size of the park, I felt two days was minimum.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Linda S
Overall rating
4/5

The crater is well known for it's natural beauty and high concentration of animals available. As a result, it is the site of lots of day trippers. We got there early, but after 10am the roads were crowded with vehicles. When a lion was spotted, the drivers communicated with each other and everyone converged on the spot. We had dozens of vehicles parked in both directions trying to see the lions. It took forever before the vehicles sorted themselves out and moved on. The park really needs to limit the number of vehicles in the park or establish firm rules about how long a vehicle can remain in any one spot. This was the only park where we saw a rhino - from a distance.

Review about Arusha National Park by Linda S
Overall rating
5/5

This was the only park where we say lots of blue monkeys swinging in the trees. We also spotted one group of Colobus monkeys who are only seen near/on Mt. Kilamanjaro. We saw a larger population of baboons than other parks. We were close to a group of Cape buffalo, giraffes and wart hogs. We got a 2 hour guided walking tour from the ranger there. This took us to a waterfall and he gave us good information about the animals.
