It is a very amazing safari trip!
5/5

We had a great 8-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania! Everything was well organized, from the accommodations and transfers to the daily game drives. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and amazing at spotting wildlife—we were lucky enough to see the Big Five! Thank you for making this a truly memorable trip.

Details made this trip super special!
5/5

The details made this trip super supa!

My exact wishes of what I wanted to see means to spread my days in each of the four amazing parks and preservation areas.
The Kojuu edge was for Losim to spread my days EXACTLY In the manner that woukd satisfy my goals.

You start your planning knowing with a budget and there are lodges / camps for whatever level you prefer.
The Kojuu edge was to choose the BEST places to stay in the category that I chose.

The driver/guide might be the bigfest difference that a travel agency can make a difference.
The Kojuu edge was to hire a very experienced driver/guide. Our guide Emanuel was born and raised in a rural area so exposed to wild life and nature from a tender age, then studied and was able to explain IN DETAILS, the habits and habitats of esch species. Much more ... he could find the trails and evidences so we could witness a lioness atacking a herd of zebras and wildebeasts, a pride of lions eating and dividing(?) a Pumba, a leopard leaping beside us to find a bush beside our car to hide and the exact moment and place to park to witness many thousands of wikdebeasts crossing the Mara River.

All hotels were exelent, they all knew of our dietary restrictions, and acknowledged our aniversary trip.

About the big five: This is not difficult to achieve - there are plenty wildlife in Tanzania.
The Kojuu edge (or Emanuel's edge - the guide trully makes a difference) is related to the details of where to spot them what to whatch for how long for each group.

Reliability:
# Contacts with us along the way to fine tune the private tours.
# "There is always a plan B"

Zachary's Expertise Made All the Difference
5/5

Zachary was an outstanding guide who genuinely cared about making our safari special. He shared fascinating facts about every animal we encountered and had an incredible ability to spot wildlife that we would have easily missed. His driving skills on the safari tracks were excellent, and he always ensured our safety and comfort. Every game drive felt unique because of his enthusiasm and experience. We left with unforgettable memories thanks to Zachary. We would gladly request him again for a future safari.

Excellent Guide, Mixed Experience with the Agency
4/5

Our safari experience was truly memorable, and the absolute highlight of the trip was our guide, Charles.

Charles deserves every one of his 5 stars. He went above and beyond to help us experience the very best of the Serengeti. Thanks to his dedication, we saw every one of the Big Five multiple times, including mothers with cubs, animals hunting and feeding, and many incredibly close wildlife encounters. He always drove safely, had outstanding knowledge about the animals, their behavior and habitats, explained the geography of the region, and shared fascinating facts about Tanzania throughout the journey. More than just a guide, he became a true friend during our safari. We are deeply grateful for everything he did for us.

Regarding Suricata Safaris, we would rate the company 3 stars.

First, we want to recognize what they did well. Everything was organized professionally: they were punctual with every transfer, booked excellent accommodations, and provided a new, comfortable, safe safari vehicle equipped with a refrigerator. We have absolutely no complaints about the logistics or the overall organization of the trip.

However, there are two important issues that we believe the company should address.

The first concerns the way guides are treated during the tour. We found it very disappointing that there were repeatedly not enough plates, cutlery, or meals for our guide, despite our safari being sold as a full-board experience. Throughout the trip, it often felt as though there was not enough food reserved for him. A guide is not simply a driver—he is the person responsible for our safety, our experience, and the success of the safari. He deserves to receive the same meals as the guests, not to wait until everyone else has eaten or rely on leftovers. We were genuinely happy to share our meals with Charles whenever necessary because he had become a great friend. However, this should never be the responsibility of the guests. Suricata should value and care for its guides with the respect and dignity they deserve.

The second point is about the planning and customer service for private safaris. We felt that Suricata is still not fully accustomed to managing customized private tours at the level expected by international travelers.

The Great Migration is what makes the Serengeti world-famous. We traveled in August, precisely when the herds are in the northern Serengeti preparing to cross into the Maasai Mara. For reasons we still do not understand, the company assumed that we were not interested in seeing the migration and planned our entire itinerary only in Central Serengeti.

When someone books a private safari, they expect more than transportation and accommodation. They expect guidance about the best seasonal experiences, explanations of the available options, and questions about how they would like to personalize their itinerary. We naturally assumed that visiting the Great Migration in August was an obvious part of the experience. The company assumed the opposite and never discussed it with us.

To make matters even more confusing, the offer we received included photographs of wildebeest crossing the river, which naturally led us to believe that this experience was part of our itinerary. At no point did the itinerary state that the Great Migration was not included, nor were we ever asked whether we wished to visit it. We believe it is only natural that someone traveling to the Serengeti in August would want to see the event that has made the park famous around the world.

Overall, we had a wonderful safari and created unforgettable memories. We sincerely appreciate the professionalism in organizing the trip and, above all, the exceptional work of Charles.

We share these comments because we believe they represent valuable opportunities for improvement. By taking better care of their guides and providing more proactive, personalized planning for private safaris, Suricata could become an even stronger competitor in the international luxury travel market.

We had a really wonderful safari tour in Pilanesberg. Peter took us around the park and did a great job. He was very nice, professional, and helped us spot some amazing wildlife. It was a beautiful experience from start to finish. We highly recommend taking a tour with him.

excellent service and memorable safari with passionate people
5/5

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Jambolux Safaris from the very first contact until the end of our trip.

What really stood out was the personal communication. We were in direct contact via WhatsApp throughout the entire planning process and even during our journey. Every question was answered quickly, every small request was taken care of, and it always felt like there was someone available to help us. That gave us a lot of confidence before and during the trip.

The whole safari was perfectly organized. Every transfer, lodge, and activity went exactly as planned, making the entire experience completely stress-free. Everything ran smoothly, and we could simply relax and enjoy our holiday.

A special thank you goes to our guide and driver, Pascal. He was absolutely outstanding—professional, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and always in a great mood. His passion for wildlife and his ability to spot animals made every game drive exciting. Beyond that, he was simply wonderful company, and we genuinely enjoyed spending time with him.

We would choose Jambolux again without hesitation and highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure!

Silent
3/5

The Trip went overall well and was well organised, no big problems.
But the most important thing, the Guide that stayed with us for 5 days (Named Mirambo) was more Just a driver, he brought us from point A to point B, and explained Just the minimum regards Animals and cultural staff.
We did a complete safari with 2 days in Serengeti, NgoroNgoro,Tarangire, lake manyara, but there was no passion, and every now and then he was saying "take picture, ok? Can we go?"
When we were asking question, the answer was Just yes or no, nothing more.
And we have been in Tanzania 3 weeks before this so we know how a normal guide is working.
Even Joel from the same Company that brought us to Kilimangiaro, told us more stuff in a couple of hours then Mirambo in 5 days.
