This was an unforgettable safari experience.
We enjoyed stunning Rift Valley landscapes and observed a wide variety of wildlife, including buffalos, zebras, impalas and many colourful birds.
Our driver‑guide Johny was very friendly, knowledgeable and hard‑working. He shared lots of interesting information about the park and local animals, and always prioritised our viewing and photography needs.
The lodge was lovely, with wild animals roaming around the premises. It was a wonderful wilderness adventure, and we highly recommend this trip.

Perfect experience with Julius!
We did a 10 days Safari in Uganda with Julius guide and was the best experience. He cared about everything everyday and gave us a lot of tips. He was friendly and easy going, punctual and responsible. If we come again to Uganda we will hire him again for sure!

Exceptional service, seamless planning and an outstanding private safari with Hamadi.
We booked our honeymoon safari with Lion King Adventures and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. Communication with the office was always quick, friendly and uncomplicated, and we especially appreciated being able to ask last-minute questions directly via WhatsApp. Everything felt well organised, reliable and very personal.
Our guide Hamadi was outstanding. His knowledge of the animals, their behaviour and the national parks was excellent, and he was clearly very well connected with other guides and lodge staff, which helped us make the most of every day. At the same time, he always showed great respect for the wildlife and nature.
What we loved most was that the safari never felt like a standard package. Hamadi adapted the days to our interests and created a genuinely tailored experience across Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
The accommodation, logistics and overall service were excellent, and we felt the trip offered very good value for money. For us it was a 10/10 honeymoon experience, and we would happily recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

An Exceptional Kenya Safari Experience with Kyla Wild Adventures
We had an unforgettable Kenya safari with Kyla Wild Adventures from 20–28 August 2026, visiting Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli National Park. From the beginning, communication was professional, clear and reliable, and the entire trip was very well organized.
The safari itself was incredible, with amazing wildlife experiences and beautiful scenery at every destination. Each park offered something different, from the spectacular wildlife of the Maasai Mara to the landscapes of Amboseli and the unique experiences around Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive throughout the journey. We always felt well taken care of, and the team made sure the experience was comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. The itinerary was well planned, and we appreciated the professionalism and reliability of Kyla Wild Adventures.
Overall, this was an excellent safari and great value for money. We highly recommend Kyla Wild Adventures to anyone planning a Kenya safari. We would happily travel with them again!

We came back. After TWO weeks. And to be honest… that says everything🦁❤️
After our first safari with Lion’s King Adventure, we left for Zanzibar and were genuinely so sad to say goodbye. If you haven’t read our first review yet, we already wrote about our first five-day adventure with Lion’s King, because honestly, that trip deserves its own story too ️ We had such an incredible time that, while sitting in Zanzibar thinking about the rest of our Tanzania trip, we suddenly thought: Wait… why don’t we go back to the Serengeti?
It was migration season. Northern Serengeti. River crossings. We still had four days unplanned. And somehow, that felt like a sign.
The only question was the budget. But then we decided: it’s worth every single cent.
There was just one thing we really wanted to make sure of before booking: Fredrick had to be available. Not because we don’t trust the amazing Lion’s King team or think someone else couldn’t give us a fantastic safari but after our first trip, Fredrick had become much more than our guide. He had become our friend. And honestly, if he hadn’t been free, we probably would have stayed in Zanzibar ️
So we secretly contacted Rebecca again, “Please don’t tell Fredrick!” explained what we could do budget-wise, made sure Freddie could join us, and somehow, once again, she made the impossible possible. In an insanely short amount of time, she created a plan that worked for us. Thank you, dada
And then came the reunion.
Fredrick had driven 11 hours from Arusha to Northern Serengeti to pick us up at the airport. When he saw us, he was genuinely in shock: “WHAT?! You came back after TWO WEEKS?!” He was kinda speechless for a while
Apparently, we were the first Lion’s King guests ever to come back after just two weeks. And honestly, we’re kind of proud of that ️
And then Northern Serengeti basically said: Welcome back.
Within our first three hours, we saw three river crossings including a crocodiles taking down a wildebeest. The next morning: two more crossings. Lions. Elephants. Leopard. Wildlife everywhere.
And then, on day three, the ultimate plot twist: three cheetahs hunting and taking down a wildebeest right in front of us.
Insane. Unreal. Unforgettable.
We know nature is never guaranteed. Migration, crossings, hunts: you need timing, patience, luck and, most importantly, respect for the animals. We feel incredibly lucky and deeply grateful for everything we witnessed. Having been in South Africa for four Safaris, Tanzania Serengeti is a very unique place. We even crossed the boarder to Kenya and saw elephant boarder crossing
But once again, the Lion’s King team made the experience what it was.

And Freddie… what can we even say anymore?
At this point, hanging out with Fredrick doesn’t even feel like having a guide. It feels like spending time with a friend. The safari just happens around us. More stories, more music, more DJ moments, more Swahili lessons, more inside jokes and somehow, another four days that we never wanted to end.
When Freddie dropped us off, we were literally standing there crying, waving goodbye. One of the guides saw us, looked at us and said:
“Oh no… this is the end of a really good story.”
We were nodding through the tears. But honestly? I don’t think it’s the end of a good story. I think it’s the beginning ️
And James…
We already heard about the new permanent Nyota opening in Northern Serengeti around September next year. Just saying: we would have stayed there this year if it existed already. So we’re officially putting our invitation request in advance
James, consider this your very subtle reminder. We’ll be ready ️
Lion’s King Adventure: thank you, again, for giving us something we never expected: not just another safari, but another chapter with people who genuinely feel like friends.
We left Northern Serengeti in tears.

Review of the 4-Day Safari Tour whith Amafric
Thank you for this wonderful experience and the organization of the 4-day safari tour. Everything was excellent. Already on the first day in Masai Mara, we were able to see an incredible number of animals, including lionesses and even a leopard. Choosing the period of the Great Migration was a fantastic decision, as there were so many animals around. We gained countless impressions from observing them.
A special thanks to our guide, Mosas. Throughout the journey, he carefully selected the best viewing positions and gave us enough time to calmly watch the animals. He also shared interesting facts, which enriched our overall experience.
The places we stayed — both the campsite and the hotel — were comfortable, with good cuisine and a nice variety of dishes

I booked the "4-Day Maasai Mara Great Migration Group Safari Front Row" tour travelling from Japan. 🇯🇵✈️
Before booking, I had numerous questions, but Jenny responded via WhatsApp faster than any other tour operator I contacted. Her lightning-fast replies immediately built total trust! ⚡️📱
She was exceptionally patient with a first-timer like me, proactively providing supplementary information and presenting various options so I could make the best choices. 💡

We were guided by two great team members, but Sammy was truly on another level. He is by far the most attentive, skilled, and outstanding guide I have ever met. 👏
Knowing that English isn't my first language, he spoke slowly and gently, frequently checking in to make sure I was comfortable and having fun. 😊
His driving was exceptionally smooth, which kept us from getting exhausted on the rough terrain, and he always gave us ample time to photograph the wildlife like a true professional. 📸🚙
While we missed the wildebeest river crossing due to timing, we had the incredible fortune of spotting the entire Big Five, including a magnificent male lion up close! 🦁✨

Exceptional Wildlife Experience, but Serious Concerns About the Safari Operator
The wildlife experience in Tanzania was exceptional, and we had some genuinely memorable sightings and experiences. Unfortunately, I had serious concerns about several aspects of the safari that were within the operator’s control.
Cash/payment:
The booking intermediary, Nitin Vyas, asked me to carry a substantial amount of cash, representing a significant percentage of the total safari cost, to meet certain expenses during the safari, including park fees. We were subsequently found out that park fees were not payable in cash.
We were uncomfortable carrying such a substantial amount of cash because of the obvious security risks. We offered to make the payment by bank transfer while we were still in Kenya, several days before reaching Tanzania, but this was not accepted.
I remain concerned about why cash was requested when secure electronic payment options were available and cash was not required to pay for the expenses. For a safari of this nature, I believe customers should not be placed in the position of carrying substantial amounts of cash and exposing themselves to unnecessary security risks. I am particularly concerned that Shah Tours was aware that we had been asked to carry substantial cash, yet did not intervene or advise us or Nitin Vyas against doing so, despite the obvious security risks involved
Potential conflict of interest:
We were also not made aware at the time of booking of the commercial relationship between Shah Tours and Nitin Vyas, the booking intermediary. Shah Tours subsequently explained that the intermediary brings business to Shah Tours and receives commercial benefits through this relationship.
In my view, this commercial relationship should have been transparently disclosed to customers at the time of booking. Where an intermediary receives commercial benefits for bringing business to an operator, it is reasonable for a customer to want to understand whether this arrangement has any bearing on the price or value received. I have not been able to satisfy myself that we received the best possible value.
Driver decision-making:
The drivers were experienced and we had excellent wildlife sightings. However, there were occasions where delayed decision-making affected our positioning. At Ngorongoro, we also left before the required 6:00 pm exit time without this being discussed or agreed with all guests.
Accommodation:
Misako Mara Migration Camp had an exceptional location, but the accommodation was very ordinary for the price paid and had several maintenance issues.
Overall, the wildlife experience itself was outstanding. However, my 1/5 rating reflects my concerns about the operator-related aspects of the safari, particularly the cash/payment arrangement, the lack of transparency regarding the intermediary’s commercial relationship with Shah Tours, the driver decision-making and the accommodation.
