Flexible, understanding and fun
We had an amazing 2-day safari to Mikumi National Park with Asante Bibi Tours & Safaris, and we highly recommend them.
From the very beginning, the experience was excellent, even though we were late with planning and booking. Communication was very fast, and they always answered our questions quickly. The booking process was easy, including secure online payment, and they were very flexible and willing to adjust the safari according to our wishes. We really appreciated that they listened to us and helped create the experience we wanted.
When we arrived by ferry in Dar es Salaam, everything was organised perfectly. We were met and taken care of from the start. Pray was with us throughout the whole journey and made sure everything went smoothly, from the train and car transfers to the safari and return to Dar es Salaam.
The safari itself was unforgettable. We had a private safari vehicle with a knowledgeable guide and driver, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the wildlife. We were lucky to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and many other animals. Seeing lions and elephants in their natural environment was a truly special experience. We also saw a lot of animals on our way to and from the national park.
Pray was not only professional and helpful, but also very friendly and funny. His good humour and positive attitude made the journey even more enjoyable. We felt safe, relaxed and well looked after the entire time.
The trip included lunch, dinner, accommodation at a comfortable lodge, breakfast, a visit to a Maasai community, time to relax by the pool and lunch before returning to Dar.
A special thank you to Pray, our guides and drivers Abel and Mwanaidi for making this safari such a memorable experience. Their personal attention made a big difference. If you are looking for a reliable safari company with fast communication, flexibility and genuine personal service, we can highly recommend them.

Terrible organization and program not followed
Unfortunately for us, the expert was very disappointing... particularly regarding the organization, which turned out to be disastrous with the agency manager.
We were informed the day before that the program would be modified. The manager confirmed that the activities would remain the same, only the schedule was changing. We accepted because we trusted her.
On the first day, we set off for a hike around Mount Kilimanjaro, where a guide was supposed to accompany us. A taxi driver arrived to take us, we drove for two hours, and when we asked the driver when the hike was scheduled, he told us there was no guide and no hike. Yet we had paid for it. The manager hadn't informed us.
We told the manager, who, as compensation, promised to take us to see the animal migration in the northern Serengeti the next day. We accepted.
We thought it was probably a mistake, which can happen, that the next day would be better. WRONG!
She told us that the safari guide would be there the next day at 6:00 AM. Except that when we woke up at 4:30 AM, we saw a message from the manager at 12:30 AM, telling us that the guide would actually be there at 7:00 AM... We weren't exactly thrilled, as we could have easily slept another hour, given how tired we were.
So we explained to our guide that, as compensation for the previous day, the agency manager had promised us a day trip to the northern Serengeti to witness the animal migration.
The guide hadn't been informed of the change in schedule, so he called the manager, who told him to proceed with the trip to the northern Serengeti to observe the animal migration. He hung up with her and explained that it was okay for him, we could go, however, it added 10 to 12 hours of extra driving with no guarantee of seeing any attractions.
The manager had assured us that it was close to our hotel and that it wouldn't affect the itinerary.
To put it simply, she lied to us because if we had known it would take a whole day on the road, we wouldn't have accepted this compensation.
So we set off and drove for about 6 hours as planned to reach the Serengeti.
But there, we saw a lot of wild animals, and our guide didn't stop. He continued driving quite fast. We asked him why he wasn't stopping, and he told us we had to go to the hotel because it was far.
So we showed him the agreed-upon itinerary, and he told us he hadn't been informed, that their agency manager hadn't told him there was a safari day on the very first day.
Our guide was very understanding; he even took the time to stop whenever he saw wild animals so we could observe them. As a result, we arrived at the hotel at night, and that's when things started to turn into a nightmare.
We arrived at a sort of base camp in the middle of the savannah. So far, nothing alarming; it was what was planned in the itinerary.
Except that after about 10 hours of driving, we discovered to our dismay that there was no water or electricity there, and our phones were nearly dead.
We tried to contact the manager to request compensation, but we haven't received a response since.
The next day, our guide told us he had spoken to the manager and that we would receive compensation equal to half the price, and that we would go to the camp that evening to get water and electricity.
We arrived at the camp and found a tent to sleep in, and one shower for 50 people (see photos).
Our guide told us the manager would be waiting for us at 4:00 PM at Arusha airport to arrange the compensation. She never showed up and hasn't responded since, so we filed a complaint with the relevant authorities.
We haven't heard from the manager since, and we are devastated.

Very serious and reliable company
We booked a 3 day tour to Murchison Falls, including chimpanzee tracking in Budongo on our last day (the reserve is located within Murchison Falls National Park).
Everything worked very well with the agency. The tour was very complete: we visited the Top of the Falls, went on a boat cruise along the Nile, did two day game drives, also had a night game drive and the chimps tracking.
We requested a low budget private tour with a camping option. They arranged for us to spend both nights at Red Chilli Camp in Murchison Falls. However, when we got into the car to start the trip, we were informed that we would actually be staying in a tented camp (an upgrade that we really appreciated). The camp was very nice and clean, and the food there was good.
Our guide, Allan, was incredible. He was always kind, respectful, and willing to accommodate all our requests. He is a great safari guide, always looking carefully for animals, and he has a real talent for finding leopards! :)
We felt very comfortable with Allan and with the entire Abantubo team. We highly recommend this agency; they are serious, professional, and reliable.
Thank you!!!

Candice and Trevor were amazing right from first point of enquiry to even after we came back home.
We gave a maximum budget list of what we wanted to experience and they organised our all inclusive trip including airfares to and from South Africa, all internal transfers and most meals etc.
Process was very smooth and easy.
Our holiday experience was exceptional! Candice had chosen accomodation and ventures were to a high standard. We had nothing more to pay when we arrived except the tips and the odd meal not covered in package. 6 day safari between 2 lodges were breathtaking to see the big 5 so close. Trevor kept in touch with us as time got closer to travel to see if there was anything else we would like to do and see. We added on the chopper flight over Victoria Falls wilst in Zimbabwe, to which he organised and we paid upfront. This was truly amazing as with many other memories that will stay with us.
If you are thinking to travel to South Africa for Safari's and see the beautiful country etc, we recommend Safari365 110%. We will go through them again for our next African adventure.

He always comes through. You can count on him any time.
Even from your home country, he will still provide assistance before your trip. And when you are in Uganda, he is always available for whatever you need during your stay. Plus his services are very affordable and flexible too. For sure the next time I visit Uganda, he will be my number one go to person.

Amazing experience, highly recommended!
We used Splendid Vacations for our safari trip during our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier. The staff helped us picking our hotels and each one of them was perfect. During the safari itself the service was amazing, our driver and tour guide August was very nice and made our experience truly amazing. It was clear that the overall experience was very well crafted and all for a very fair price. Highly recommended!!

Extraordinary Family Journey Through Rwanda – Discovering Rwanda the Gama Way
I would like to sincerely thank Gama Travel and Tour Agency for making
my family’s journey to Rwanda one of the most beautiful and memorable
trips we have ever experienced.
I had wanted to visit Rwanda for a long time, and from the moment I
communicated with Gama Travel, I felt that I was in good hands. The
team was professional, responsive, and attentive to what my
11-year-old son and I wanted from our journey. They even assisted in
arranging my flight, making my arrival in Kigali comfortable and stress-free.
What followed was an incredible 8-day family adventure that showed us
a Rwanda far beyond what we had imagined.
We explored Kigali, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, enjoyed
family children activities at Kigali Universe and at Fazenda , went
on an exciting Akagera National Park safari, learned about Gorilla
Conservation at the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla
Fund, discovered Rwandan traditions at Iby’Iwacu, enjoyed the beauty
of Lake Kivu, and experienced family adventures and leisure
activities.
But among all the experiences we had, Bigogwe was the experience that
touched me the most.
I have travelled to many countries in Africa, Europe, and other parts
of the world, but the experience we had in Bigogwe was unlike anything
I had experienced before. The breathtaking green hills, the local
communities, the cattle, the traditional lifestyle, the interaction
with local people, and the opportunity to experience Rwanda beyond
conventional tourism made the visit incredibly authentic.
After experiencing Bigogwe, I strongly believe that Bigogwe should
become a must-visit destination for anyone coming to Rwanda. It gives
a visitor something that cannot be found simply by visiting
conventional tourist attractions. It makes the journey personal,
authentic, and unforgettable.
As a mother, I was especially happy to see my son learning and
enjoying himself at the same time.
I highly recommend Gama Travel to families, couples, international
visitors, and anyone who wants to discover Rwanda in a different way.
Thank you, Gama Travel and Tour Agency, for showing us the Rwanda
beyond the ordinary.

Animals, Guides 5️⃣⭐️
Saw the Big 5 which is never a guarantee; beautiful country with friendly people. Magical …otherworldly experience. Amos (day 1) and Melita (days 2-4) were each skilled drivers and knowledgeable guides.
We never had a flat tire (we saw many), breakdown (a few), or accident (one); but our truck seemed in ill repair.
Their paper allocation is perplexing. Toilet paper to dry your hands and twice) napkins to wipe.
Meals got redundant. The tour operator failed to transfer our luggage on day 1 leading to an anxious evening. It did make it to us safe and secure that same night.
The different accommodations were magnificent (lodges and tented bush camp), especially considering their locations. The soft mattress has not made its way here yet.
For the misadventures, the ADVENTURE was absolutely amazing. Our thanks to our guides especially for making it so. Asanti sana!
