We had a fantastic end to our Kenya holiday with a safari at Masai Mara with Rodger from Axis Africa. He knew just when and where to take us in Mara to see game, and was very strong at answering all questions. Had a super experience and would love to visit again sometime!

A safari is an extraordinary experience for any nature and animal lover, and experiencing it with Zak makes it even more memorable. He has a wealth of experience and an amazing ability to read nature: tracks, sounds, scents and behaviors.
One of the most special moments came when everyone seemed ready to give up on the search for a leopard. Zak kept going, tracking with patience and determination until he finally found it. Thanks to that persistence, we witnessed an incredible scene: as the leopard approached a den of hyenas, the two largest ones came out to protect it. It was a wild, thrilling and beautiful moment. The kind of scene that only happens when you’re with someone who knows exactly how to move through that environment.
One of the most remarkable experiences we lived with Zak was the detection of a buffalo near the camp just by its scent. From the very first moment, he showed a great sense of security, calm and confidence, making us feel protected, even in the middle of the wilderness.
That’s the big difference when you go on a safari with Zak. He doesn’t just show you the animals—he makes you understand what you’re seeing and feel like you’re part of the experience. His professionalism instills confidence, but his passion is what makes the trip truly unforgettable.
