Unforgettable trip ❤️
5/5

Amazing experience! We did a customized/private 8-day safari (including one rest day). Everything was excellent – from the organization to the accommodations. We couldn’t have wished for a better driver & guide than Maila: he was extremely friendly and highly knowledgeable. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife – including all of the Big Five. This is a trip we will definitely never forget. Absolute recommendation!

More than 5 stars
5/5

We had an absolute joy of an experience with Spirit of Kenya. Our planning process was flawless and organized with Gerardo. He answered every single question (there were a lot) and created the perfect itinerary. Our flight had to be moved due to weather changes and they were able to accommodate us at last minute and we still got to do everything we wanted. When we got to Kenya, our airport transfer was waiting for us and drove us to our hotel booked through Spirit of Kenya. The hotel selection was nice, clean and everything we expected. We did the city tour in Nairobi and again - it was organized very well and super fun! We learned so much and saw so many animals.

Our three day safari in Maasai Mara was unforgettable. Our guide (Raphael) and his student (Steve) were AMAZING. They made every moment great and magical. Everything was super organized and punctual. They explained everything to us throughout the trip. The long drive there and back went by in a flash because of all the things they were sharing/pointing out. We learned about plants, history, culture, landscape, animals - the list doesn't end.

Our camp which was beautiful with 10/10 hospitality and food. The game drives were insane - our guides showed us SO MANY ANIMALS. We saw a leopard (very rare!), tons of lions including cubs, elephants, wildebeest, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, giraffes and more! We got so close and were able to take amazing photos. They were always looking out for us and ways to give us the best experience that we could have. We are so grateful for everything that they did.

As an anxious person - I felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. If you are nervous about booking or spending money, I would say that it's 10000% worth it and to DO IT.

This review doesn't capture how magical and unreal this trip was for us and we couldn't have had that without Raphael, Steve and Spirit of Kenya!

Samora was great, quick, attentive to our needs and requests
5/5

From booking where we discussed accommodation options to airport pick up and drop offs, everything was done for us to be comfortable and happy. If we wanted to get up early to see lions, it was possible. If we wanted to eat later to have more time in the parks, it was possible. Our guide, Emmanuel, was very knowledgeable on all animals and carried binoculars and a reference book to provide maximum info. I really recommend to travel with Samora

Lulu went above and beyond every step of the way!
5/5

The most magical experience anyone can have! Our guide Boaz helped us see more than we could have imagined and went above and beyond to maximize our animal viewing and comfort. Lulu from Sacred Wilderness was so thoughtful and responsive, she worked with us every step of the way to customize the perfect trip for us. She also even met us the first evening we arrived at the hotel to go over our itinerary. We can’t wait to go back to Tanzania with Sacred Wilderness and recommend them for anyone considering the trip of a lifetime!

Reliable, considerate, local, knowledgeable, would choose again!
5/5

We chose Tony Mobile Safari based on availability, package content, price and reviews. We wanted a versatile safari experience of 3 nights during the New Year and were happy to find an option offering a boat cruise on Chobe River, 1 night in Chobe National Park and 2 nights in Savuti. We preferred choosing a local and independent company, although it seemed like a bit of a gamble due to payment in advance. Everything went completely smoothly, though, and we were left feeling ecstatic with no complaints whatsoever. High recommendation to anyone travelling to Kasane for a safari adventure!

Our guide, Mabuta ("Jack"), is among the best in the business for sure! Very knowledgeable and quick to identify different animal species, full of funny and interesting facts and anecdotes, and an obvious passion and respect for nature. He was also incredibly considerate (or he could read our minds) as he stopped the Land Cruiser and was very patient in letting us observe different animals and plants from elephants to dung beetles without rushing (which is what we have experienced with some other companies). We managed to see a lot, thanks to Mabuta's excellent tracking skills and top class bush rally driving skills. Even driving bumpy and swerving tire tracks at full speed, he always warned us of bushes and tree branches. We found two lionesses with their cubs snoozing in the shade of a tree, completely obscured from view from the road. We also made it in time to see a leopard and a pack of eight African wild dogs spotted by another accomplished guide.

Our accommodation was assembled by Disha and tasty vegetarian food cooked in abundance by Ta. We were very comfortable in our tent with army style cots for beds and an adjacent bathroom (warm shower available!). We also felt very safe as the team was so sharp in recognising animal calls but had a calm and confident demeanor. The Land Cruiser had a fridge so there was always plenty of cold water and space for soft drinks, yoghurt, etc. Second breakfasts and tea breaks were enjoyed at specific locations in the nature reserve with excellent views of e.g. a hippo in his pond or a dazzle of zebras.
