Very kind and helpful
Overall, my 6-day safari in Kenya was an incredible, bucket-list experience. Seeing animals in their natural habitat was simply breathtaking, and I truly enjoyed the trip despite a couple of minor setbacks.
First and foremost, I want to give a special mention to the tour operator agent who handled my trip preparation. She was exceptionally kind, responsive, and supportive from day one. Every question I had before traveling was answered promptly, and she even checked in on me via message during the tour to ensure everything was going well. Excellent customer service!
The tour itself was super interesting, but there are two main areas where the agency could improve:
The Packed Box Lunches: While breakfasts and dinners at the camps and hotels were great, the packed lunch boxes provided for full-day game drives were very disappointing. Out of 4 days, we only received 2 repeating options. The main items lacked quality: the sandwiches were mostly bread with butter, a thin slice of tomato, cucumber, and a tiny piece of cold cut (or no meat at all in the second variation), paired with very dry chicken. While it came with juice, fruit, and yogurt, the main lunch portion was poor for long days out in the wild.
Vehicle Capacity & Comfort: For the first 3 days, we had 6 people in a 10-seater vehicle, which was very comfortable. However, for the last 3 days, the vehicle was packed to its full 10-person capacity. Driving for 6+ hours in August heat without air conditioning, stuck in a tight space where you cannot stretch your legs, made the long transfers very exhausting. I strongly recommend capping these long-haul vehicles at 6–7 passengers for customer comfort.
Note for future travelers: If I could tweak the itinerary, I would skip Amboseli and add an extra day in the Masai Mara instead, as the long drive to Amboseli didn't feel entirely worth it compared to the Mara.
At the end of the day, these were minor drawbacks that did not take away from an otherwise spectacular journey. I still recommend this experience and this company tour!

Perfect: I couldn't have found a better guide.
I am an amateur photographer with a passion for nature photography, my favorite subjects are birds.
Having a photographer on board is very demanding for a driver and requires a lot of patience—and Chrispus has it.
To accommodate my needs, he surprised me by bringing along Gordon, a young man who is an expert on both birds and photography, and turned out to be an excellent assistant.
I must say I really enjoyed myself and found every aspect of the trip to exceed my expectations; I highly recommend choosing Lineage Gorilla Safaris for a wonderful adventure in Uganda.

A professional and reliable tour operator, with knowledgeable and helpful guides who made our safari
We went on a one-day private safari to Mikumi, and it was an amazing experience! Our driver was very skilled at spotting animals. Our guide was knowledgeable and professional, and the jeep was comfortable, with drinks available on board. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with a stunning view and, despite having only one day, we managed to see many animals. Highly recommended!

Incredible day in the Serengeti
Gerald our guide was amazing, he found us lions, cheetahs, leopards (2 meters away), elephants, giraffes, buffalos, amongst more all in just four hours in the park. I have so far had a great experience with Suricata Safaris.

An Amazing Safari Experience with Dallas Africa Safaris
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Dallas Africa Safaris. From start to finish, everything was well organised and professional. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we had a fantastic time throughout the safari.
We visited Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, and the whole experience was unforgettable. We saw incredible wildlife, beautiful scenery and learned so much about Tanzania and its animals.
The communication, organisation and service were excellent, and we always felt safe and well looked after.
A huge thank you to Tunu Zongo and the Dallas Africa Safaris team for making our trip so special. We would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Exceeded my expectations
The safari exceeded my expectations on so many levels. Our guide went above and beyond to show us the wildlife and get us the best views, all while being respectful of the animals. The food was delicious and the tents were comfortable. Great communication with the staff before and after the safari too. I would definitely recommend.
He was caring, knowledgeable, and funny.
I had an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Given, was so sweet and he had our best interest at heart the entire time. He was very funny and our group was very talkative and he answered every single one of our random questions. It was a great value for our money.

Thank you Hekima ! Asante Sana
We arrived in Arusha for a conference and, just two days before it ended, we made a spontaneous decision to climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route in just five days.
At a restaurant, we met some travelers who had just finished a safari and Mount Meru with Hekima Safaris. They couldn’t stop talking about their experience and highly recommended the company, so they shared Mopoo’s WhatsApp contact with us.
We messaged him immediately, and despite being out of the country, he responded quickly. He explained all the climbing options in a clear table and arranged for us to meet the Hekima team that very same day. We met Jumanne and the rest of the crew, and everything was organized incredibly fast considering how last minute our request was.
Our five day Kilimanjaro climb was exceptionally well organized from start to finish. Before the trek, we ran into an unexpected problem with our bank, and we couldn’t make the payment on time. This is where Hekima earned our trust.
Instead of canceling our trip, their finance team calmly told us to go ahead with the climb and settle the payment after we returned. The only thing they asked was that we make sure we had enough money to tip the mountain crew, explaining that the tips go directly to the porters, guides, and cooks who work incredibly hard. After spending five days with that amazing team, we completely understood why they absolutely deserved every bit of appreciation.
After the climb, we completed our payment without any issues, and Hekima helped us with all the remaining formalities.
Before leaving Tanzania, we wanted to visit an organization helping people in need. We called Mopoo for recommendations, and he suggested several different organizations. Later, we noticed on Hekima’s website that they also support children’s education across Tanzania, so we asked him why he hadn’t recommended his own project.
His answer impressed us even more.
He said that a portion of Hekima’s profits already goes toward supporting those children, so he thought it would be better for us to help another organization instead. That level of honesty meant a lot to us. It wasn’t about promoting himself,it was about making sure our support created more impact.
Because of that, we chose to support Hekima’s project as well, and we plan to continue doing so.We had great time as well with cultural program after visiting Hekima projects!Asante Sana
Trust is built through actions, and throughout our entire experience from responding to a last minute request, to trusting us with delayed payment, to treating their mountain crew with respect, and putting people before profit.we experienced exactly that.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy company to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with, or you want your trip to contribute to something meaningful beyond tourism, we wholeheartedly recommend Hekima Safaris.
Thank you Hekima team for an unforgettable experience !Ahsante
