Breathtaking landscapes, extraordinary wildlife and the warmth of its people, Change you!
Kenya is a place where breathtaking landscapes, extraordinary wildlife and the warmth of its people come together to create an experience that doesn’t simply impress you—it changes you.
Our safari exceeded every expectation. The wildlife viewing was remarkable, but what made it truly unforgettable was seeing these magnificent animals living freely within Kenya’s vast, beautiful landscapes. Every drive offered something different, and even the quieter moments—watching the scenery, taking in the changing light and simply appreciating where we were—felt extraordinary.
Our accommodations were beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally welcoming. We were treated with genuine warmth throughout our stay. Agnes, the accommodations manager, was gracious and attentive and made us feel completely at home. Janet, our personal server, took wonderful care of us and brought such warmth and kindness to every meal. Their hospitality was every bit as memorable as the surroundings.
Our guide, Tonkie, was exceptional. His knowledge, patience and ability to locate wildlife transformed each game drive into an experience we will never forget. He did far more than simply show us animals—he helped us understand what we were seeing and gave us a much deeper appreciation for Kenya’s wildlife and natural environment.
The scenery was spectacular, the weather was wonderful, the wildlife was beyond anything we could have imagined, and the hospitality was deeply genuine. Kenya delivered far more than a vacation; it gave us memories and relationships that will remain with us for the rest of our lives.
On a scale of 1 to 10, Kenya was easily a 20. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful country with diverse wildlife and friendly people.
The most outstanding aspect of the wildlife in Uganda is the primate tracking. We have three wonderful experiences with chimps, gorillas and golden monkeys. The weather was good in July and the scenery incredible. We travelled with Kajie Safaris and our itinerary and driver were very thorough. It was great to have a driver who was prepared to advocate for our membership of particular tracking experiences (e.g., he recommended chimp tracking in the afternoon, which was the right decision - just the two of us and the chimps were down from the trees). The accommodation was generally very impressive with the exception of Entebbe (Hotel Horizon - they forgot to pick us up from the airport and eventually sent a taxi but we have to walk outside of the airport to get into it and our room had so many problems that they moved us - eventually. For our visit to Bwindi we stayed at Kaara Lodge - we would never stay there again. The bar staff overcharged us by an exorbitant amount and refused to discuss or acknowledge their error. The terrain around the lodge is challenging and not all guests might be capable of navigating it - especially in the rain or darkness (both of which we had at once). We would absolutely recommend Uganda as a tourism destination for its diversity of scenery and wildlife, friendly and accommodating people and spectacular birdwatching opportunities in both forests and on waterways.
African Big Cats Excellent Safari
African Big Cats Safaris provided a great experience from answering questions before the trip to every part of the safari itself. The itinerary was excellent. We saw all of the animals possible including 5 Mara River crossings. Omega Victor our guide was very helpful, knowledgeable, spotted animals we did not see ourselves. He was an excellent guide. The accommodations were excellent with very friendly staff. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had an amazing time at Samburu. Our driver John was kind and very helpful in providing information about region and animals. He made it possible for us to see every animal we wanted to see.

Our 1st safari was absolutely amazing ! Thanks to Julius, our vibrant , energetic and very friendly tour guide, for making sure our safari was memorable . Julius was THE BEST tour guide everrrrrr….he made sure we saw the BIG 5 and he even took us to see crocodiles and hippos! What a guy ! Julius took pride in his ability to locate everybody’s favorite animal and then proceeded to educate us about the animals, answer all our questions and added many interesting facts…his vast knowledge is impressive !!

Promt response, very honest and made the perfect experience for my family
I was traveling with a toddler and a teenager, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From payment options to hotel discussions, everything was great. We even had some last-minute changes that they accommodated, which I have to say, hats off to them for that!
Our guide was more passionate about showing us the wildlife than we were, and he made sure the toddler was comfortable.
The bookings and hotels were our choice, and the price fit our budget, so hats off to Tembea. They're small and local, but they're the best, and I'd recommend everyone support local businesses rather than big tour operators who don't offer personal care.
