We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience and great collaboration we had with Wildfinder Tours. They promised us an unforgettable experience, and they absolutely delivered.
From A to Z — from the initial consultation and preparation, through the planning and organization, to the execution and care we received on the ground — everything was perfectly organized and went smoothly.
What stood out most was the friendliness, openness, and professionalism of our guide. We were traveling as a family of four with two younger children, and we especially appreciated how much time and effort our guide took to involve and educate our kids about everything we saw during the safari. He explained the animals, nature, and local surroundings in such an engaging way — and even did so in our native language (German), which made the experience particularly special for our whole family.
We also trusted Wildfinder’s expertise when it came to planning our route through Tanzania’s different national parks, and that trust was absolutely justified. Our itinerary took us from Arusha to Tarangire, then to the Ngorongoro Crater, and finally to the Serengeti, and for us, it was the perfect combination.
We combined our safari with two days in Zanzibar before the safari and another week in Zanzibar afterward. Wildfinder also arranged our domestic flights, and everything worked perfectly.
Looking back, we honestly wouldn’t change a thing. The entire trip was exceptionally well organized, while still feeling personal and relaxed. We would book the same safari with Wildfinder again without hesitation and highly recommend getting in touch with them if you are planning a safari in Tanzania.

An absolutely magical and unforgettable experience! We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, as well as an incredible variety of animals amidst stunning landscapes. Every day was filled with excitement and wonderful surprises. 🦁🐘🦒🦓
A huge thank you to Dennis, our driver, for his professionalism, kindness, and—above all—his incredible knowledge of the wildlife. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experiences and saw as many animals as possible.
Thanks also to Alex, our French-speaking guide, who accompanied us with such kindness and good humor. His insights helped us better understand Kenya’s wildlife, culture, and magnificent landscapes.
We are heading home with heads full of memories and incredible photos. Seeing the Big Five and so many animals in their natural habitat was a dream... and it came true! ❤️

Overall, it was a very good experience. Two guidance drivers for Kenya and Tanzania respectively were all very good and the one for Tanzania, Demas was extraordinary good. He was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and considerate. He made the part in Tanzania much memorable.
The route and the stops were very well planned through with scenes of wild animals and local cultural activities. With the guides’ local knowledge we were able to see a lot of rare scenes of wild animals migrating, resting, running and even fighting.
They recommendations were also good. They consisted of different styles from urban villas to tents in wilderness. Hospitality was excellent, and the food was good even I experienced an upset stomach during the trip, possibly from something I ate.
As an amateur artist, I have to mention that the exhibition of African art was fantastic. I was amazed by the creativity and artistic talent of the African artists. I believe that this could become an important industry, creating opportunities and contributing greatly to improving local people’s livelihoods.
Apart from all the enjoyable experiences, I was somewhat disappointed by our visit to a cultural show in a Maasai village, for several reasons. First, there was a charge of $20 per person, and the village appeared to be a popular tourist attraction (within one hour stay I saw three or four groups there) We therefore assumed that tourism could provide significant income for the community and, in turn, contribute to improving their living conditions and hygiene. However, we did not see much evidence of this. Instead, the ground was covered with animal waste, and the huts appeared extremely basic and poorly maintained.
We were also told that some of these tiny huts, with an area of less than four square metres, could accommodate an entire family of four to seven people. This was very difficult for us to understand and raised questions about the authenticity of what we were being shown.
Anyhow, the experience left us with the impression that the presentation was highly commercialised and, at times, seemed almost staged to create a story of extreme poverty and hardship and to encourage visitors to feel sympathy and make donations. If tourism is generating a significant income from these visits, we would have hoped to see clearer evidence that at least some of that income is benefiting the community and improving the living conditions of the people who live there.

Great tour from start to finish
Shanjoy were recommended by a friend so we decided to use and weren’t disappointed. The communication from start to finish was excellent and the vehicles and guides were great. We stayed in mid range accommodation which was excellent and the quality of food and staff friendliness were brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience with the tour company during our trip to Kenya. Everything was very well organised, and our safari was truly unforgettable.
A special thank you to our driver, John, who was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, professional, patient and very knowledgeable about the wildlife. John always made sure we were comfortable and did his best to give us the best possible safari experience. Thanks to him, we had some incredible wildlife encounters and saw so many amazing animals in their natural habitat.

Kids friendly safari with Nuhu
If you are with little children, take Nuhu as a guide. He was so great with my daughter. Treating her as his own kid. Took her on the front seat and did the safari with in the middle. We really loved it and it gave an extra dimension on the safari.

Excellent Tour Company
My second safari after many years and I was amused by our compentent guide, Dennis Hinga. Our game drives were incredible well planed and I would say we got really lucky with the variety of animals we were able to spot. Only because he drove us to the best spots to see all of the big 5 and many more animals. Alongside the spottings he taught us some interesting facts about the animals and their environment. Even though we got in some seriously complicated traffic situations he handled them very well. Thank so very much Dennis and I only can recommend him to everyone as a guide;-)
