Our 4-day safari was truly an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide and driver, Melita.
From the very first day, Melita was kind, professional, patient, and always attentive to every detail. His knowledge of the parks and wildlife was impressive, and he made sure we had the best possible chance to see the animals we dreamed of finding. Thanks to his experience, we were able to enjoy countless unforgettable wildlife sightings.
He was always punctual, friendly, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. You can clearly see how passionate he is about his work, and that made our safari even more special.
These four days exceeded all of our expectations. We will cherish these memories forever, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Wonderful day spent with Lebo!

It was a once in a lifetime experience.
Everything was incredible cannot recommend it enough it is an expensive trip but it more than delivered and gave us experiences we’ll never forget.
Professional, knowledgeable and friendly guide who tailored and organised a perfect tour
I have just returned to Nairobi after a 14-day birding tour of south east Kenya with Davis Kibuga of Wide Birding Eco Tours. It was my first ever birding tour, and covered the national parks of Amboseli, Tsavo west and east, the Taita and Shimba hills and coastal forests and estuaries around Watamu. It was hardcore birding, pre-dawn to sunset, catching a total of 311 bird species, but we also saw plenty of other African animals including five cats - lions, leopard, cheetah, caracal and serval. Often we had additional expert guides for specific regions, the highlights being John in the east and William at Arabuko Sokoke Forest, who located a cute pair of endangered Scops Owls. All of these guides, and Davis in particular, could identify birds from 100 metres away, direct you to them, and if the birds complied, gave you ample time to photograph them. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend Davis and his friendly and professional team for a wildlife tour of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania or Rwanda. Certainly, if you are interested in the beautiful birds of east Africa, you should give Davis the opportunity to design the perfect tour

The best of the best
I booked this 5-day Maasai Mara safari just one week in advance, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the Axis Africa team responded after I registered my interest through a safari booking website. They immediately provided me with several options to choose from and even arranged airport pickup from Nairobi Airport to their office.
My flight was delayed due to boarding procedures, but the driver waited patiently for me without any issues, which I really appreciated.
The safari itself exceeded all my expectations. I was especially lucky to have Kelvin Mimi as our guide. He isn't overly talkative, but he is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. No matter what questions we asked about the wildlife or the Maasai Mara, he patiently explained everything in detail and shared fascinating background information.
Thanks to his expertise and dedication, we were able to see everything we had hoped for, and every game drive was full of wonderful surprises. I have no hesitation in recommending Kelvin Mimi and Axis Africa to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience.

Great experience for our first safari

Our guide Kevin was very good—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we saw an incredible variety of animals, including the Big Five, and learned so much about Tanzania’s nature and culture along the way.
