Bison Safaris: A Perfect Blend of Expertise, Warmth, and Unforgettable Wildlife Encounters
5/5

From the moment I booked my safari, Bison Safaris provided seamless communication and attentive service. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife and ecosystems, making every game drive both educational and thrilling. The accommodation was comfortable, the itinerary was well-paced, and the value for money was excellent. I felt safe and well-cared for throughout the trip, and the memories of seeing the Big Five in their natural habitat will last a lifetime. I highly recommend Bison Safaris to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable African safari experience.

A fasinating experience
5/5

We had a journey combining a 7 days hike up mount Kilimanjaro followed by 5 days of safari through lake Natron, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro.
Kimgoni provided two different guides for the hike and the safari and both were very nice and very insightful. They were keen to answer all our questions and show the very best of their areas. We were joyfully guided to the top of Kilimandjaro and we managed to see all kinds of animals on the Safari, including the difficult to spot rhinoceros, leopards and cheetahs, and even a lion breakfast as they we arrive to see them feeding on the buffallo they had killed in the night.

Fantastic
5/5

We spent four amazing days with our guide and driver, Luther. The day before the safari, we flew to Arusha, and Suricata Safari provided us with transfers and a hotel overnight stay with breakfast. The next morning, we met our guide and hit the road. The jeep was comfortable, with each passenger having a window seat. We made a couple of stops along the way for drinks and bathroom breaks. Our first stop was Tarangire National Park. This was our first encounter with the amazing world of animals and birds in their natural habitat. We saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, mongooses, and antelope. Our guide, Luther, deserves a special mention. He was excellent at spotting animals at a distance and pointing them out to us. We drove very close to the animals that were nearby, always finding the best photo positions. We also had lunch in a designated area in the park and then continued on. After completing the excursion in the park, we arrived at the lodge near the lake. A stunning hotel with private cabins and a fantastic view of Lake Manyara from the pool (be sure to bring a swimsuit). Dinner at the hotel was delicious and varied. On the second day, we headed to the Serengeti National Park. Words cannot describe its splendor; it must be seen. We traveled in January and witnessed the Great Migration, where thousands of herds of zebras, antelopes, and gazelles migrate to the Serengeti! Our guide answered all our questions, shared interesting facts, and made stops for photos and observation. We didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable at all. In the park, we saw lions, leopards in the trees, cheetahs in the grass, zebras, giraffes, elephants, various antelopes, and other wildlife. The sunset over the Serengeti capped this action-packed day. Once again, our wonderful guide chose the best spot for observation and photography, waited while we enjoyed it, and only then did we head to our overnight accommodations. We spent our second night in a tent. But! This isn't a tent; it's a fully-fledged hotel room with a shower and toilet, located in the middle of the savannah. All night long, you'll be haunted by the sounds of insects, birds, and animals under a star-filled sky. This experience is definitely worth it, and we want to thank the organizers again! On the third day, we traveled through the Serengeti again and saw a pride of lions (2 lions, 4 lionesses, and 8 cubs) within arm's reach (Luther, thank you so much). It's hard to describe; the photos tell the story better. Then we went to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and visited a Maasai family in their village. We were greeted with a welcome dance, shown how to make fire, invited into their home, answered our questions, and then taken to a local school, where the students sang, counted, and read. It was all amazing! We spent our third night in a hotel in a village near Ngorongoro. At 5:30 AM, we set out for the Ngorongoro Crater. We watched the sunrise and saw pelicans, flamingos, rhinoceroses (which isn't always the case due to their shyness), and other wildlife. That's where our amazing trip ended. A huge thank you to Suricata Safari. You do an incredible job! Thanks again to our guide, Luther

The totale order of our 2 weeks trip through North Tanzania was perfect. All accomodations (Lodges) were great (except one) and different options were also part of our tour. All details were perfectly planned in line with our wishes and advices of GreenHippo
Day by Day we had a wonderful trip starting in Arusha National Park first and after that via Tarangire National Park to Serengeti, Ndutu area, Ngorongoro Crater and a finaly to the Maasai wonderful located opposite of the Kilimanjaro. Our driver was reliable, good, with fun, very flexible and had much experience about animals, villages and Tanzania culture.

Serengeti Insider Safaris gave us the BEST safari experience in Tanzania!
5/5

We booked a 6-day private safari tour with Serengeti Insider Safaris. From the very beginning, Yusef was great with communication and worked with us to create a personalized itinerary. We spent 1 day in Tarangire National Park, 2 days in central/west Serengeti, 2 days in Ndutu (for the calving season) and 1 day in Ngorongoro crater. We saw the Big 5 and so much more! The accommodations were beyond expectations and the coordination of the entire experience was so smooth from pickup at the airport to drop off after the entire safari. Our safari guide Kelvin was the BEST and so great at finding animals and keeping to our planned itinerary. I cannot recommend Serengeti Insider Safaris enough - anyone thinking about booking a safari in Tanzania should book with this local company! Many thanks to Yusef, Kelvin and the entire team for this once in a lifetime experience that was so special!

Incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive tour group!
5/5

We had the best Safari experience thanks to Serengeti Insider Safaris. Throughout the planning process they were incredibly attentive to help formulate the perfect six day safari with accommodations and game drives that fit our every desire. They were well connected with operators in Zanzibar to help plan the second half of our trip as well. I would 100% use them again to plan another safari.

Our guide, Kelvin was exceptional. He knew the answer to every question we could ask. He was super friendly and made us feel right at home. And critically important, he was an expert driver, seemingly getting us in the perfect position for every photo of Leopards, Cheetas, Giraffes, Rhinos, etc throughout the Safari. I would be honored to have him drive me on future safari expeditions.

Big 5 Sightings and Many Laughs with Serengeti Insider
5/5

We had a 6 day private safari organized in January 2026. From the initial communication with Yusef, organization of accommodations, planning for parks and every last minute detail, we were well cared for and always in the loop. The accommodations we stayed at were absolutely stunning and service was terrific. Having been all over the world, I can say confidently that Insider Serengeti is the best!

We would always insist on booking again with insider Serengeti when we return and will be recommending Yusef and co to all of our friends and family.

About: Zara Tours
Unforgettable Safari Adventure
5/5

Our safari with Zara Tours was an incredible experience that went far beyond our expectations. From the start, everything was organized smoothly and made the trip completely stress free. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help, which made a big difference throughout the journey.
Our guide, Shaban, truly made the safari unforgettable. He treated us like family and created an atmosphere where we felt comfortable and relaxed right away. His knowledge of the wildlife and parks was impressive, and his ability to spot animals seemed effortless. Every game drive was exciting, and he always knew exactly where to go.
As someone who has traveled all over the world, I can honestly say this safari ranks among the most fun and memorable experiences I have ever had. Seeing the Big Five felt easy thanks to Shaban’s expertise, and each day brought something new and exciting.
Zara Tours delivered an outstanding safari, and I would choose them again without hesitation. I do not often write reviews, but this experience truly deserved one. Thank you to Shaban and the entire Zara Tours team for an unforgettable adventure.
