Friendly, passionate and thoughtful staff, driver guide and chef
4/5

We have joined the 5 days tour to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tanrangire in June 2018. The hotel arranged before the safari is up to standard with friendly staff. The driver guide is experienced when spotting wildlife and explaining the interaction behind them and the food prepared by the chef is generally quite good. It would be better if the chicken is not overcooked. Communication and arrangement with the office staff is clear and they are always helpful.

Best safari company possible!!
5/5

My husband and I went on a 13-day safari with Soul of Tanzania in June 2019 and I cannot recommend them highly enough! I am from Australia and initially contacted local companies about our planned itinerary. However, after they all said they needed to consult “their providers” I decided to contact Tanzanian safari companies directly instead. From the first email, Luis from Soul of Tanzania was responsive, thorough and extremely helpful in planning the best possible safari experience for our timeframe and budget.
The quote from Soul of Tanzania was broken down into specific costs, providing us with numerous options for accommodation and activities at each location so we could customise our safari to completely suit us. We worked with Luis over the next few weeks to finalise our once in a lifetime trip. We decided to choose Soul of Tanzania for our safari because of Luis’s exceptional customer service – it was far superior than any other safari company I had contacted.
Even though I had an enormous amount of confidence in Soul of Tanzania based on their online reviews and my interactions with Luis, I was nervous about sending such a significant amount of money overseas. However, my confidence was definitely not misplaced and our safari was PERFECT from the moment we were greeted at the airport by our guide Ahmed – right up until our sad departure from Tanzania.
During our planning, we provided Luis with numerous details about ourselves which helped him suggest the best possible itinerary, but also helped Luis match us with the best possible guide – and Ahmed was definitely our perfect guide! Ahmed is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide, with a passion for both wildlife and birds, a fantastic sense of humour and he is dedicated to ensuring his guests have the most amazing experience possible.
Our safari took us to Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti, Western Serengeti and Arusha National Park. Ahmed was with us for the entire trip and his exceptional spotting skills meant we saw some amazing sights, including over 150 species of birds and over 40 species of mammals and other wildlife. Ahmed was extremely patient with us when we wanted to take additional photos, and always tried to position us so we had the best lighting to get the best shot possible – resulting in some amazing photos to put on our wall.
The vehicle was in excellent condition and Ahmed kept it clean at all times, and our hot lunches were consistently delicious, with Ahmed setting up in the perfect picnic spot everyday with a cold glass of wine and a hot tea or coffee. Very indulgent when you are in such picturesque and remote areas.
We cannot be more grateful to Ahmed, Luis and Soul of Tanzania for making our Tanzanian safari better than we ever imagined it could be! Soul of Tanzania is a small company who customises their trips to suit each guest and provides the best service you could possibly ask for. For anyone planning a trip to Africa (Soul of Tanzania operate in countries other than Tanzania), make sure you contact Soul of Tanzania!

Dream tour
5/5

When I was booking the safari, the owner Paul was very helpful and clearly informed me with all plans, distances etc. He replied very fast and in details. When we came to Arusha the guide- Ezekiel- was waiting for us, and its started!
On the first day we saw Masai village and then came to the lodge. The drive was safe and exent. Ezekiel explained the Masai culture showed us more viliges, and answered a lot of questions. On safari was amazing! It was spectacular view, he knew exactly when the animals were, showed us even those, hidden. Without Ezekiel we would see maybe 10% of all. Great, amazing knowledge and kindness of our guide! For sure we have seen more than we expected!

Safi sana safari
5/5

The trip beat all our expectations and to be honest we were very sceptical in the beginning. After our briefing at the hotel in Arusha we were made to feel very comfortable and the whole trip was conducted very professionally. I particularly liked the fact that our consultant Remmy called us every evening to make sure everything was going well. Everything was efficient and smooth and Juma our driver guide did an excellent job. Thank you.

Loved watching the elephants upclose. The park is also a bit compact so watching animals is easier. Being at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the park has a special appeal.

About: Kenya
Memorable Kenya trip with Wildtouch Africa
Overall rating
5/5

We found Jacob of Wildtouch through Safari Bookings. From the time we first connected, Jacob has been most responsive and forthcoming. It was his speed of response, openesss to adjust to our schedule and requirements and overall transparency, that made us decide to do our safari with him. He also booked really spectacular hotels for us, which enhanced our travel experience manifold.

Kenya wildlife is spectacular. The trip organised for us made sure we went to the best of parks and were able to see all the animals up close. Our guide, Ben, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

The kids loved the food and the hotels that were booked and all of us enjoyed the trip immensely.

I think the trip would not have been half as enjoyable if it were not for Jacob and his entire team at Wildtouch. For that, thanks a lot. I have not stopped referring him to all my friends ever since we came back. Hope to do another safari with Jacob and Wildtouch soon.

My safari Glamping = Glamor + Camping
5/5

My mobile safari was very comfortable, inside my tent, I had a camp cot and a mattress, with all the bedding, during the nights it was a little cold but the boys gave me a hot water bottle. Everything clean, my bathroom was attached to my tent and came with shampoo and towels. The food is rich and the menu is international. The guides know a lot about the local fauna! I have seen 4 of the 5 Big Five. And I have seen around 100 species of birds. To be an Economic Safari, I must say that I exceed my expectations. Because the boys take care of everything! Arm and disarm the camp. I just went to enjoy.

Excellent Adventure
5/5

This was a trip to never forget!! From the moment we were introduced to this company till the very end, every moment was memorable! We did a 3 day Safari in Kenya with our amazing guide Hassani! He made sure to share his experiences and knowledge with us and made sure we were safe at all times! He knows the park by heart and knows the best places to possibly spot some animals. He is surely the best guide we could have wished for and makes sure you have a safe, fun and spectacular trip!

We spent the night at the Mara Mara luxury camp and also there we were greater with open arms, the crew ready to answers all your questions. The tents are just amazing and at night you can hear the lions and elephants from your bed. The crew made us feel right at home and the food was delicious.

Overall it’s almost unexplainable the amazing animals we got to see and the lovely people we got to meet!
