Roho exceeded our expectations with our Safari, from the smooth running to the quality of the guides
5/5

Ute was super helpful and incredibly professional and honest in helping us plan and book our safari to meet our travel schedule and budget.
Our guides were very good and punctual, we saw the most incredible animal sightings and were able to completely relax and enjoy the safari. I would highly recommend Roho and Ute and I look forward to booking our next African adventure with them.

I had such a great time visiting beautiful animals with the best possible guiding!
5/5

Everything was just so great! From my requests they costume made a great plan for my tour. The guide Peter is very professional, knowledgeable and humble. He understands very well what visitors need and would enjoy experience. I saw amazingly many beautiful animals in a fairly short safari tour and was more then satisfied when we returned to Kampala.

Trip of a lifetime that far exceeded any expectations!
5/5

Luckily I had a friend who had spent months researching which trekking and safari company to go with months earlier so when it came time to plan my own trip, I went with her strong recommendation of KTM which saved loads of time and was the best decision I could have made! Nick who worked his way up from being a porter, to a guide and now a company owner, was extremely professional, helpful and responsive to all our of pre trip jitters, emails and thousands of questions. From the moment we landed to our departure, he was there to help and go out of his way to ensure we were safe, well taken care of and in the best hands with our guides and team. (He even had to send a porter up the mountain 3 days in to deliver us warmer sleeping bags and tampons!!!) Our team for Kilimanjaro was incredible and our guides Ali and "Simbamze" ensured our safety, confidence and success in reaching the top. Kevin the chef cooked up amazing food which was way more and much better than I could have imagined! (Was hoping to lose weight and I think we all gained instead!) Cholo our waiter would wake us up ginger tea every morning, dust off our boots at the end of each day and even give us massages if we felt sore. By the end ceremony, we were all in tears to say our goodbyes and so thankful for all their hard word and contagious smiles! Our safari was also amazing and an easy transition with incredible accommodation, food and professional kind guide Shirima. I highly recommend this company without any reservation! Asante Sana!

The park had the largest concentration of animals in the smallest area. You barely need to drive anywhere and you see elephant herds, rhinos are everywhere, buffalo, zebra, gazelle, jackals, warthogs, etc. and we saw a cheetah with its kill. There is a conservation area where you can see the last two northern white rhinos on Earth.

Wow. SO INCREDIBLE. I expected to see animals but i guess i thought they would just be laying around all day like our pet cat. Instead, we saw hyenas tearing apart a zebra and fighting over it, hippos barking at 20’ crocodiles, a lion protecting its kill from a group of marauding hyenas, a leopard climbing a tree where it had previously stored a dead gazelle, cheetahs going after a zebra... so incredible. Saw some cool birds. Did not see rhinos. Ol Pejeta was the best place to see rhinos.
We planned our trip so we would witness the Great Migration and, unfortunately, it had not yet began. This turned out to be just fine.... we saw so many animals and animals events. So if your trip doesn’t overlap the migration, there is still SO MUCH to see!

Very cool. When for boat ride in a small jon boat. Saw hippos, and they bring a fish so you can see an eagle swoop down right in front of you to get it. Our guide spotted a baby duck stuck in a fishing net and rescued it, which my daughter really appreciated. Then they dropped us off on this island where you can walk and a very close to all kinds of zebras, antelope and giraffes. Lots of waterfowl here so, if youre a birder im sure its great. It’s hard to focus on the birds when there is so much going on with the mammals.

We didnt expect that we were going to be walking through this gorge... SUPER COOL experience that you would NOT get in a National Park in the U.S.A. This does require some hiking and physical exertion. Wear sturdy shoes/boots. The wildlife was good but its alot better in some of the other parks. This isn’t necessarily the park i would choose to see animals rather, you would be going to hike in this incredibly usual and unique gorge.

Better than we could have ever imagined.

Ben from eTrip Africa did a great job of customizing our trip for our family of four. Everything about our trip was absolutely fantastic. The wildlife and scenery were incredible. We stayed in accomodations which varied from glamping to renting a whole cottage and every place was clean, tidy and safe. We thought, given the remote conditions, that food quality would suffer and we would be eating alot of granola bars but that couldnt have been further from the truth. Food was excellent... even the box lunches!
Our guide, John, was incredibly knowledgable and kept us close to the action but did not disturb the animals’ behaviors. The vehicle was a well-maintained truck with a popup top which we were very happy to have after seeing some of the other vehicles in the parks (old beat-up vans; trucks with completely open sides which would provide NO PROTECTION from animals that might get frisky and held shivering occupants in the mornings and evenings; vehicles with no pop up, etc).
Hard to pick one highlight: was it standing in our truck in the silence while 10 giraffes quietly munched on tree leaves just feet from us? Or maybe watching a leopard make its way out of the grasses to climb a tree where it had stored its kill, while the sun set on the savannah? The hyenas fighting for a piece of a downed zebra? Two bloodied rhinos fighting over an observing female? A male lion protecting his kill from a pack of hungry hyenas? What will YOUR adventure yield?
This was our first trip to Africa and we were a little nervous about our safety, however, we felt safe on our entire trip. Ben met us the first day, which was reassuring. Everywhere we went, the people were friendly and eager to show us what their beautiful country had to offer.
I highly recommend Ben and eTrip Africa. They made our Trip of a Lifetime one to truly remember.
