The safari was a great and a wondeful experience for me, from the very beginning even before we reach the nationa parks, African travel tour treat us well since the time of negotiation in the office, then when they picked us from the hotel. The guide and Cook were so kind and they made a safari more nicer, it was a beautiful things to make new friendships in a few days.
The safari!, What can i say?, The nature? Or the wildlife? All i can say it was the best experience in my life and i am looking forward to live it again. The safari was wonderful, the driver took care his time to explain us all the things about the plants and animals. He was well prepared. Also he adopted t the things we wanted, he gave us a enough time to take pictures and answered all question. Very friendly person. The food was perfect we could enjoy different things, always the food was on time. all the things was perfect. I could notice a good coordination. All this things made this safari a great experience. Not only was visit places, also we could share between all of us.

Great communication, even when we had an issue on exchange rates, the operator David was super professional and did me a solid. They were very flexible as we changed itinerary twice and they were great with all our requests. I'd give advice to be more proactive with what you want and bring cash as we thought th eery took credit cards and they did not.
Wonderful experience
I have wanted to go to Mara forever and my dream came true last year. And it blew my mind - the wildlife, the landscape and the general feeling of being in the wilderness; in the midst of such incredible beauty. Kidepo Valley NP with Matoke Tours
Kidepo Valley National Park is wildlife and safari at its best! Plenty of animals, beautiful sceneries, and the few people we met were very nice and friendly. Choose your accomodation: Campsites with facilities (and: maybe lions), mid-range bandas or upmarket lodge are available. Self-drive from Kampala is doable (in dry season, at least), but it's a long, long drive.
We therefore chose to book the trip with Matoke Tours, which we can highly recommend. We travelled in a small group of 7 people, the car was in excellent condition, fair value and no hidden cost, very well organized, easy to communicate. And our guide Geoffrey Katende did a great job - highly recommended, too!

A Wonderful Experience
From the moment we were collected at the airport, everything ran smoothly with Jocky Tours. They brought us straight to the office to pay for our trip. As our tour was not starting until the following day, we had one day/night to explore Nairobi. The company arranged for a taxi to bring us to our hotel and collect us again that evening for dinner. We were brought to Carnivores restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed. The following morning we met our guide, Martin, for the first time. He was fantastic! We were extremely well looked after and his knowledge of the Masai Mara was incredible. I would highly recommend Jock Tours and in particular I would put in a request for Martin, as I don't think you could ask for a better guide!

Perfect Service
We’re back after 6 days safari with It Started in Africa. Everything was top notch from beginning to goodbye. It took us about an year to plan this safari. During these time we exchanges hundreds of emails with the company to discuss the itinerary. How they always replied within minutes at any time of the day or week was beyond me. Or how they dealt with so many emails from me. But I’m so glad it all worked out to provide us with the itinerary and accommodation options that ended up being the perfect choice for our family and kept us within the desired budget.
The company director was availaby on the cellphone in case we need anything and always went the extra mile to take care of us. Fortunetely no call was required, everything went smoothly. We saw hundreds of elephants, dozens of lions and other big cats, even the rhinos we were able to see in the Crater.
I am sure this company has a bright future ahead. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Amazing Experience
I went on a Safari recently in February with my best friend. The tour was arranged very well -- excellent activities, hotels, and our guide - Didas - was a true highlight. We saw "The Big 5" (lion, elephant, rhino, cheetah, and leopard) within the first two days! It was very nice to have a blend of safari/beach trip as well -- Tanzania/Zanzibar combo is recommended. Maturaf planned us an amazing trip, although at times he was slightly unresponsive over email. Still, highly encourage others to use this tour provider and request Didas as their guide!
